I appreciate your ambition and full of energy as a teacher. I learnt Russia for a year, then gave up. Maybe your video will encourage me to start over. Unfortunately, bullies are everywhere: some people are created to be rude. Don’t permit them to stop you. ❤
I apologize on behalf of bullies.I hope you don’t have to encounter something like that again.I also love your outfit, natural beauty and videos.Good luck İclal!🎉
I can't think of any reason why would anyone bully and hate you, other than that they are very jealous of you. You are an amazing intelligent person, the amount of langs you have learned + studying at the same time, its not easy for many. I started learning langs only after completing my University, I just couldn't do it, and yet you managed to learn so many while studying in school college at the same time. Lindie Botes came across online bullies and sadly it deeply effected her mental health. Don't let such people ever ruin you, keep doing what you are doing, their words can't do anything.
Korean can look scary at first but the alphabet is so easy to pick up and there’s so much Korean content out there which makes life easier! I did Korean at uni and now Russian after graduating and I definitely think Korean is easier😂 I would love to see your perspective on the language if you did ever decide to learn it❤
i’m a korean who is learning chinese and I would say chinese is much easier than korean haha. everyone has different experiences but for chinese, as long as you learn characters the grammar is super simple and there arent many tenses!
@@seramic26 yes chinese grammar is so easy but the tones make for much confussion they are hard to pull off and the writing system is much more complicated than that of the korean one.
I loved the confidence on you about doing whatever you want to do on your life. And i want to say that you inspire me a lot. As someone who’s also into learning different languages,i passed through almost everything you’ve said like bullying, hate and stuff. At the beginning of this school year I wanted to change my second foreign language to French (it used to be German) When the year started i was expecting everything to be perfect but school didn’t surprise me like always. I was so exited and when i told my French teacher that i studied French the whole summer and I’m currently like A2-B1 but she somehow didn’t appreciate what i said maybe it’s just my attitude but then she wanted me to prove it in the class with one of her “most loved” students. We talked some basic stuff. Not because I’m bragging about myself but I was clearly way better than her but she still interrupted me while I’m speaking and criticized every single word that I pronounced wrong. I felt terrible and i never wanted to talk at her class ever again even in Turkish. I gave myself some time to understand there was nothing to make myself desperate. After a while I switched to Russian which is way harder than French but I found out that this is the language that I feel comfortable with. And I didn’t have to worry about it. I’m currently focusing on English at school even tho my main lessons are science and math. I’m planning to study interpretership in the university and I’m pretty sure i can do it in best way. So whoever you reading this, please don’t let other people to control your life you know what’s the best for you and whoever makes you feel awful, you’re free to say that your life has nothing to do with them.
You are awesome İclal❤ I wish Turkish people would aware of more how precious to appreciate and support the people who are talented and hard working. Btw I like your fashion. It suits you well! Go ahead girl👊
Hey I discovered your channel just yesterday and you are really one of a kind. i'm loving your authenticity, your languaje tips and your determination!
i am here to make your youtube community a better place as a Turkish!! good luck for your next year goal and wish me luck for my Japanese goals for the next year 😔👹
Literally i have been asking myself most of the questions you answered in this video, so i could know more about you. With respect to your style, i think i'm the only one who loves you style, your outfits, it's super unique, how is it possible that many people don't like and appreciate your style? well, i hope you can reach all the goals you have set for this 2024, i know you can do it, so keep going, you're doing a great job. ✧
I'm Egyptian, studying my master's at Turkey, and I wanna tell you keep going and ignore hated or bad comments that's maybe not just happening in Turkey but in most of middle east countries. These days I'm learning Turkish and German, you inspired me to do this and learning two languages at the same time, thanks alot 🙏
I think you really did a great job turning your channel to a universal one. Thus you are reaching more people from all over the world and also we, your Turkish followers, are practicing English while listening to you. Which is a great thing since your channel is mostly focused on languages and you being a polyglot. So that now this channel is fully focused on these.
You are one of the greatest source of motivation n inspiration for me and a lot of language learners .Obviously you are doing great dont let anyone to make you feel bad about your achievements. You are so cute, smart and active in learning not only languages but also political science and you are taking education in abroad which is so extraordinary and uncomfortable decision for a normal human to make so you need to be proud of yourself .Unfortunately not everyone wants to see you to become successful. You are one of the best examples of our country.Keep inspiring us with your precious contents!💕💕💕💕💕🌻
I would like to congratulate you on your success at your young age. As a professional translator and private tutor, I must say that you have been an inspiration to all that are language enthusiasts and wannabe polyglots. Keep up the good work. I would be pleased to meet you one day.
As a brazilian who's currently studying german but has had a huge passion for russian and even more for polish for a long time, this video made me so happy. I always feel like i should just stick to german until im super fluent at it instead of distracting myself with other hard languages, but like... i love learning new words in those languages ,i love reading them, i love listening to them, i love languageeees 😭😭 so listening to your story made me so excited, seeing how much fun can be had learning languages even if in my case i might not get advanced in polish and russian but now im at least convinced its worth listening to my heart and enjoy learning some words and sentences in those beautiful languages here and there 😂 Congrats for your hard work and thanks for sharing your experiences and tips!! Amazing channel!
Me encanta tu canal.
22:13 I’d love to watch book related videos from you! Books you read this year, your all time favourites, your recommendations, your reviews on books, any kind of book content!
Very inspiring Iclal! my daughter studied in Istanbul and she acquired good turkish along the way. I believe appreciating languages open doors to appreciating cultures. Bravo to young Muslim women:)
Iclal, you rock! Go ahead! You are open-hearted, motivating all people worldwide! Let People of the Earth be like you and We live in Peace and Harmony!
Iclal, I just randomly stumbled upon your channel on youtube, watched some videos and OMG - your Russian sound VERY good. You have almost no accent. A lot of foreign people who study in Russia and live there for many years do not speak that well. Your dedication to languages is incredible and motivates so much. Thank you! Btw, I think that Finnish have a lot of language concepts that are quite similar to Turkish. Same agglutination, soft vowels, verb cases are very similar etc

omg you cute soul!!!!!! i'm also 19 and i love your polyglot and youtube journey, and this may sound super weird but i am so proud of you (even though we're the same age lol---- and the fact that you're financially independent!!) i speak cantonese, mandarin, and english at native/near-native levels, and i have decent fluency in korean and japanese (IF YOU EVER CHANGE YOUR MIND and want to learn them wink wink) but i am currently learning french, german, and norwegian as well so that's that. it's so sad to hear you say you get hate comments, but i'm glad you're stronger than that
You are doing great job obviously you made a great peaceful community with your precious youtube channel l hope your channel can reach to even more people.🌿🌻
After watching this video I feel very inspired to continue learning more languages to become a polyglot. So far I can speak: 🇧🇩- বাংলা 🇬🇧- English 🇪🇸- El español 🇫🇷- Le français 🇮🇹- L’italiano The first language on the list is my mother tongue and I started learning English since I was four before coming to the UK. I was bilingual until I was fourteen as I’ve been learning Spanish for roughly two years now and I began learning French and Italian on my third year of high school. So now I shifted from bilingualism to speaking 5 different languages. I also want to learn 🇪🇬 mainly for travelling purposes to Middle Eastern countries but as personal preferences I’m more than happy to learn this language and 🇯🇵 in my free time because I love this language so much. I’m also considering learning Russian since I have high passions for learning languages. I’m 16.
As a Brazilian who studied Japanese for three years and started learning Russian this year, I must say: between the two, Japanese is super easy. The language reflects its people, so Japanese is orderly, predictable, with clear sounds and ideas... Russian is simply chaotic, I'm just trying to cope with it at this level. 😅
I am sorry you had to go through such bad experiences! just know that grown old men who comment online and bully are the saddest people in the world! you did nothing wrong! you are a beautiful young girl with lots of prospects and opportunities and some people are just jealous and mean for no reason! you triggered something in them! love you keep going!

Bullying is everywhere and pretty widespread. In US, UK, France, Italy etc. Don't get surprised, if you encounter bullying in other countries. You are so so young and very inexperienced naturally. Life will show you and teach you more and you will ultimately comprehend far better.
I love watching you. You are such a sweet, kind-hearted, intelligent young woman. It's very nice that you dared to go back to TH-cam, that takes a lot of courage. This bullying says more about these people and nothing about you. I wish you great experiences on your journey. Stay the way you are! Many Greetings from Germany

I'm Egyptian, speaking English, probably a C1 proficiency level. It has declined to B2 during the last period I think, but I'm satisfied about my English level. I started learning German around three months ago, and I'm doing a great deal, I think it's A2, now. After my high school final exams, I will start Spanish. When I reached this proficiency in English, I got a huge motivation, like I knew at then that language learning is my thing. And I'm going to do the same the rest in my life, I felt that I could have done more when I knew that you are almost my same age, I'm almost 18, but I'm still motivated and you inspired me really. like, I decided that you are my inspiration.

Our people have gone completely mad. I deleted Instagram because of this Turkish community on Instagram. It was stressing me out and making me guilty for my own choices. Especially at that election times the social media was unbearable and i thought all those impacts on me was really unhealthy so i deleted instagram. I am Turkish and learning Polish. I was learning Japanese and I stopped. But really I think Japanese was easier than Polish :D I am happy to hear that you are interested in Polish and I would love to watch Polish language videos from you 😍
I think that the key in your language jorney was to learn french, in my opinion, is not that easy but you kinda forced yourself into learning it until fluency and that's easier said than done, after that, you got an easier time with italian because you already knew the words, and the "secrets" of a romance language, and after french and italian, spanish is a way easier as well.. I had the luck to grow up speaking spanish as my mother tongue, then I learned english and italian to a C1 level, and now, learning french, I'm kinda doing the opposite, sure italian and spanish do help, but french it's a tricky language to master, anyway, very interesting to hear about yourself, you are an inspiration to keep on this wonderful world of language learning! Buena suerte Iclal! te has ganado un suscriptor nuevo! Saludos
Really?! i m a Chinese who learned Russian in university and suffered my darkness 4 years during that time. After seeing your review, I decided to try again.
Would you create a video where you show how you incorporate the study of grammar into your language learning. I know you've said grammar can't be neglected, but can you show us how and to what degree you add grammar into your language study?
We're the same age but my life flow has been very different from yours, I haven't had the opportunities to focus on the things that interest me in my life. But since I met you, I have admired you and, although late, I started to study the languages that interest me. You are my biggest motivation, thank you

I appreciate your ambition and full of energy as a teacher. I learnt Russia for a year, then gave up. Maybe your video will encourage me to start over. Unfortunately, bullies are everywhere: some people are created to be rude. Don’t permit them to stop you. ❤
Sayende dil öğrenme konusunda motive oluyorum. Rol modelimsin❤
I WAS WAITIN FOR THIS VIDEO SINCE 3 MONTHS MERCI BEAUCOUPP❤❤❤
gurll you're literally my inspiration in fashion!!! love you and your content! 💛
girl you are shining
Whenever I lose my motivation of learning a language I come to your videos, thanks for sharing your experiences ❤
Don't let such people ever ruin you, keep doing what you are doing, their words can't do anything.
your language learning skills is amazing, i aprreciate you ❤
the way you dress is super amazing girllll, I look at your outfit in every video and just amazed by how lovely and DIFFERENT it isssss!!
💓💓💓
Korean can look scary at first but the alphabet is so easy to pick up and there’s so much Korean content out there which makes life easier! I did Korean at uni and now Russian after graduating and I definitely think Korean is easier😂 I would love to see your perspective on the language if you did ever decide to learn it❤
yes korean is easy much more easier than chinese and russian
i’m a korean who is learning chinese and I would say chinese is much easier than korean haha. everyone has different experiences but for chinese, as long as you learn characters the grammar is super simple and there arent many tenses!
@@seramic26 yes chinese grammar is so easy but the tones make for much confussion they are hard to pull off and the writing system is much more complicated than that of the korean one.
i'd just say that it looks like some normal language with a different alphabet! but no idea
Thanks for sharing your journey Iclal! Very interesting. All the best for your future learning and career!
You are awesome İclal❤ I wish Turkish people would aware of more how precious to appreciate and support the people who are talented and hard working. Btw I like your fashion. It suits you well! Go ahead girl👊
Dear Iclal they weren't bullying you, they were jealous people thay amount to nothing. You proved them wrong, way to go 💪 👍
Hey I discovered your channel just yesterday and you are really one of a kind. i'm loving your authenticity, your languaje tips and your determination!
i am here to make your youtube community a better place as a Turkish!! good luck for your next year goal and wish me luck for my Japanese goals for the next year 😔👹
Literally i have been asking myself most of the questions you answered in this video, so i could know more about you.
I always feel like i should just stick to german until im super fluent at it instead of distracting myself with other hard languages, but like... i love learning new words in those languages ,i love reading them, i love listening to them, i love languageeees 😭😭 so listening to your story made me so excited, seeing how much fun can be had learning languages even if in my case i might not get advanced in polish and russian but now im at least convinced its worth listening to my heart and enjoy learning some words and sentences in those beautiful languages here and there 😂
Congrats for your hard work and thanks for sharing your experiences and tips!! Amazing channel!
I'm so excited for you to learn Polish!! Love from Poland ! xx
Same agglutination, soft vowels, verb cases are very similar etc
stockholm vlogunu izledikten sonra içime dil çalışmaya geri dönme düşüncesi doğmuştu. sosyal medya'da gördüklerimi anlayabiliyorum diye ingilizceyi de b2 seviyesine gelince bırakmıştım. videolarını aylar sonra tekrar izlemeye başlayınca gerçekten bir anda büyük motivasyon buldum (normalde çabuk pes eden biriyim) ilham olduğun için teşekkürler! inşallah bu sefer yılmadan devam edeceğim 🌟
Sooo nice you're planning to learn Portuguese some day!
thanks a lot!
I love your videos, you always motivate me to learn something new. take care of yourself !
Hey Iclal! I follow your youtube channel for quite some time now, and I never knew about the extend of the negativity that you got. I just wanted to tell you that I've enjoyed your content a lot and you are an inspiration! I'm looking forward to your next content. Good luck with your studies🫶
Amazing polyglot! Thank you very much for the inspiration. Çok teşekkür ederim
iclal , please keep doing what you are doing . ı support you wholeheartedly :)
So inspiring...Thanks for the video, I wish to have that much confidence in lerning languages and your videos are really great help ❤
omg you cute soul!!!!!! i'm also 19 and i love your polyglot and youtube journey, and this may sound super weird but i am so proud of you (even though we're the same age lol---- and the fact that you're financially independent!!) i speak cantonese, mandarin, and english at native/near-native levels, and i have decent fluency in korean and japanese (IF YOU EVER CHANGE YOUR MIND and want to learn them wink wink) but i am currently learning french, german, and norwegian as well so that's that. it's so sad to hear you say you get hate comments, but i'm glad you're stronger than that
You are doing great job obviously you made a great peaceful community with your precious youtube channel l hope your channel can reach to even more people.🌿🌻
WOW AND NOW YOU TOOK YOUR RUSSIAN EXAM!!!! You're amazing
After watching this video I feel very inspired to continue learning more languages to become a polyglot. So far I can speak:
🇬🇧- English
🇪🇸- El español
🇫🇷- Le français
🇮🇹- L’italiano
The first language on the list is my mother tongue and I started learning English since I was four before coming to the UK.
iclal thank you, you are amazing.
I love your content, don't listen to frustrated people. Keep Going.
As a muslim girl who likes learning languages I'm sooo proud of you. Really, don't give up. InshaaAllah you will archive all your goals❤❤❤
As an argentinean who lives in germany and is starting learning russian I just admire you.
I've been stuck with my I want to improve english I couldn't improve other languages that fuck up all my tries with german. And now I have a partner in russian that I want to learn that language and you inspire me!
Thank you so much!
I just came across your videos and I have to say that you are such an inspirational and witty person Iclal! As a person that always was fascinated by languages and different cultures myself (I always say how I wish I spoke all the languages of the world😍), I truly admire your dedication and your strong spirit. I am proud of everything you have accomplished on your own, even though you were insulted and doubted by some people. Keep doing your thing, your content is awesome and so are you. ❤
Obsessed with learning French right now too. Obsessed with French culture etc etc. You inspire me
Bullying is everywhere and pretty widespread.
Icial, you are an amazing person and a role model! I currently speak 3 languages and study 2 more and you totally motivated me to keep learning languages! And I totally get that you study Swedish because of IKEA, it was my favorite place to go when I was a kid and I still love going there! :D
Keep going and never stop, as we say in Dutch, je bent een fuckin strijder! Soldaat🫡
Milan üniversite kabul sürecini ayrıntılı anlattığın bir video çeker misin ? teşekkürler.
İlham kaynağısınız. Gurur duyuyorum tüm iyi dileklerim sizinle.
And I'm going to do the same the rest in my life, I felt that I could have done more when I knew that you are almost my same age, I'm almost 18, but I'm still motivated and you inspired me really. like, I decided that you are my inspiration.
hello, iclal. i'm from turkey too and since my childhood i really interested in the other languages. and i'm learning english and deutsch. my english level is b1 and my deutsch level is a1. i'm 14 by the way. and i just wanted to say thank you because when i'm about to give up, you helped me about get my motivation again.i know, i have a lot of mistakes in this text but im still learning this language...
We are proud of you!💗
Just go on girly!
15 yaşındayım ve B1 seviye ingilizce biliyorum ama yeterli olmadığını düşünerek birçok kez ispanyolca, fransızca, italyanca öğrenme girişimim oldu fakat her seferinde bıraktım.Bu videoyla beraber yeniden Fransızcaya başlama kararı aldım.Bu yolda en büyük idolümsünnn
i rly relate to the ignoring online classes to learn a language part lol i did that w french back in 2020
Ik this wasn’t the point of the video but I loooove the way you dress and I think you pull it off so well. All the colors you choose look gorgeous on you too! You’re actually a style inspiration for me. Don’t let the haters get you down (:
i appreciate 🤍
Our people have gone completely mad. I deleted Instagram because of this Turkish community on Instagram. It was stressing me out and making me guilty for my own choices. Especially at that election times the social media was unbearable and i thought all those impacts on me was really unhealthy so i deleted instagram. I completely stayed away from Turkish politics and the country's agenda. So i completely understand you. I was relieved when you started making videos on English because you had much of a international community than a Turkish one and i also like watching videos in English and seeing English comments idk. Btw we're the same age and i've been following you for years and seeing yout improvement give me motivation for the things i want to do, so please keep postin'. Love you
You’re doing fantastic. Your vids have helped me so much! Haters will hate. Keep doing you.
I am very proud of you. Keep going!
Hi İclal , I was watching your videos for quite a while and I really enjoy your content. I just love the way ou pop on my page. I was not a big fan , just occasionaly watching some of your videos and enjoying it but I am really suprised about the bullying you mentioned it in the video. I am really sorry for the things you've been through and totally understand and support your decision on changing the channel's language to english. I find you really interesting and unique and just wanted to make a supportive comment. Keep up the good work please !!
There are a lot to learn from you dear İclal, I wish you can achieve all your goals in your journey because following your channel encourages me a lot to continue my learning process with consistency. I wish you the best😊🤗🤗
I love how you seem to be so unapologetically YOURSELF and that takes some strength! I could relate so much to you but somehow i wish i could be more like you. I always enjoyed learning languages but i was really afraid of what people would think of me and how difficult it is for me to make progress so it grew into something i was (still am) embarrassed about. Hoje me afastei bastante dessa atividade tanto que nem sei como trazer de volta o aprendizado de linguas novas pra minha vida sem me sentir idiota :'( Really, you're brave and inspiring! Thank you for putting yourself out there in the world! I wish we could be friends in real life! Much love and success on your journey to you ❤️
muito obrigada 🤍
I am so happy that you are interested in learning polish i dont know many (language) youtubers who speaks it, and also looking forward to see your swedish video cause i just started to learn it myself ^^
Iclal, you are amazing!
I'll be happy to come back here once you learn Polish to see how a person as talented as you is doing in my native language, I wish you all the best
im looking forward, tysm!
You should ignore other people who criticize you❤❤❤
In my opinion your clothes are so cute I haven’t seen some thing like these
I am Turkish and learning Polish.
Saludos
İyi yapmışsın. Sosyal medya ruh hastalarıyla dolu. İngilizce devam et böyle iyiyiz :)
Do not worry. I also went to a psychotherapist because of the Russian language. Even though I am a native Russian speaker.
Really?! i m a Chinese who learned Russian in university and suffered my darkness 4 years during that time. After seeing your review, I decided to try again.
Hallo Iclal!
So inspiring me to continue my language learning 😊
Would you create a video where you show how you incorporate the study of grammar into your language learning. I know you've said grammar can't be neglected, but can you show us how and to what degree you add grammar into your language study?
great topic, thank you!
We're the same age but my life flow has been very different from yours, I haven't had the opportunities to focus on the things that interest me in my life. But since I met you, I have admired you and, although late, I started to study the languages that interest me. You are my biggest motivation, thank you
all the best 💐🤍
