You seem to have missed one of the most versatile vehicles: THE PINZGAUER 718, which has at least the capacity to travel at a reasonable speed on normal roads, AND off road. Its a vehicle with particular potential to carry a camping body.

Disappointed not to see the Arctic Trucks modification on the Hilux. A 6x6 modification with 44" tires that is actually operating every year in the Antarctic. I would think that after a few years of reliable service in that environment should warrant a place on this list. It is a modification on offer in many of the Arctic Trucks workshops. Don't need the 44" tires but can go as small as 35".

Suv anx pickups heavily modified ranging from 33" tires up to 54" tires and all street legal. Made for overlanding in iceland going across glaciers. Maybe worth a video?

@@automotiveterritory yes that is true. Arctic Trucks offer what they call Self-drive tours in Hilux similar to the one used in the Top Gear Polar Special. There is also a company named Isak Land Rover. There you get a modified Land Rover Defender on 38" tires, the same size as the Arctic Trucks Hilux. There could be others but I do not know about more. A 38" modification is often considered to be the smallest modification for a vehicle weighing more than 2,5 tons. After that you should go bigger tires for snow wheeling. If you have a lighter Suv like a suzuki jimny thhen 35" should be enough.
