  • The first pen I have tried from the small company that is Tom's Studio! This aluminum pen with its titanium flex nib really caught my eye at the M Lovewell store back in July and finally, I decided to try it out!

This is totally my teal color! You're killin' me Craig! XD I was looking at Tom's pens from Instagram...but all the flex nibs were sold out on his online store. I'm really intrigued with these lovely flexible nibs that can provide very natural line variation (like the Pelikan M1000). Thanks for sharing your experience with this Tom's studio pen. It seemed to not railroad with normal writing - so I think this is best for regular writing with some flair and line variation rather than hardcore flexing. "RAILROADING A LOT!" XD

If you can find a way to make it work, then cool. I’ll just send it to you haha

I bought a pack of those same syringes and you can actually use them as converters, too. take off the needle and i believe theyre standard international size

Too bad it never got better and you gave it away (looked in comments to find this out).

You really are a Primus fan, I am
    Has the nib improved?

Nice looking pen. Too bad it doesn't have an ebonite feed then the ink might be able to keep up when flexing. Small adjustments are possible to plastic feeds to make them flow better...involves a razor blade and some patience. :)

I don’t take those kind of risks 😅 But I will eventually give this away!

The air was thick with catcalls, no pun intended. That seems reasonable $ for an alum. pen with a Ti nib, no? Railroading forgiven for a moment......

It’s a whole day later after filming and it still railroads like crazy

Nice looking pen. Has it gotten any better with time?

Not really. I ended up giving it away to someone who doesn’t flex it

You didn't read the directions! ... and so completely ignored an important feature: ink capacity can be increased by filling the PEN with ink (using that very nicely made syringe). Tsk tsk.
