Hello, by chaos my dreams come true, how do you go about fulfilling them? Hey, will you give us the honor of making this fandub?
If this is the last video of 2023 on your channel, then you ended it well for me. I've not had a good year. There have been some good days but the bad ones really stand out when looking back from the personal losses I have made, so I feel like Dark Shadow ready to give 2023 a good punch on New Year's Eve after all of the punches it has given me in twelve months.
Definitely ended strong!

For some context on this scene:
In this Alternate Universe Shadow doesn't keep his promise to Maria and lets the Space Colony collide with earth which kills a whole bunch of people and all of Sonic's friends are dead which is the reason why Sonic is Dark Sonic.
The reason why the area is dark around them is because it's aftermath of the Space Colony crashing on earth because of Shadow which you can see both Sonic and Shadow are the only survivors.
Due to Sonic losing his friends because of Shadow then Sonic decides to mention Maria because Sonic is RIGHT because Maria wouldn't approve of any of this because Canonically Maria asks Shadow to protect the humans as a promise which Shadow ultimately fails in this timeline and that's pretty much the entire comic.
Think of this as one of those bad endings in the PS2 Shadow The Hedgehog game where Shadow chooses the evil path and doesn't keep Maria's promise.
Ok thanks cause it’d make more sense for sa2 shadow to still hinge to Maria instead of his character post heroes, who has left behind his past and all the baggage that came with it
as if it were a secret ending
well it's not shadows fault for one Gerald messed with his memory for shadow to do this and for two black doom was reminding shadow of being a weapon for revenge and destruction like Gerald wanted.
also if this was shadow the hedgehog (the game) shouldn't shadow be dark against dark sonic not chaos

0:55 I can't get over how damn evil and unhinged Sonic looks here. Shadow is literally near having a mental breakdown as his body radiates with power and furious energy. Hell his voice is even echoing in power and Sonic doesn't even look remotely intimated. Even on the verge of laughing his ass off. It's giving vibes of when you're about to fight that unhinged guy who just doesn't give a damn and would let you get the first hit in and laugh it off. Just maniac looking. This is one of the best dark sonic interpretations I have seen.

The reason why sonic isn't Intimidated is because he knows he's stronger and that Shadow is on borrowed time.
It's because Dark Sonic is pretty much a Super form. Shadow without his inhibitor rings only gives him the full access of what is essentially one whole chaos emerald. Shadow's gonna get fucked up in this fight.

Shadow signed his death sentence the moment his inhibitors broke off, whether he wins or loses. He dies.
I loved every second of this.
I don't think we know that for certain, he only ever took them off once in the actual games and it didn't really visibly affect him.
I think the Archie comics and the Japanese sonic X gave people the impression that his inhibitors would quickly waste his stamina, but in the actual games we've only seen his wrist inhibitors off in Sonic 06.

Wow, I've never seen Sonic look so unhinged before. It's genuinely unsettling. 00:09 is probably my favorite frame, just look at those fangs! And, the quick cutaway to his eye a few moments later just ramped up the madness to 11. Well done.

I love a Dark Sonic that is Scary, Sadistic, insane, and full of rage mixed together and not just “Ooh, he’s angry.” Dark Sonic. This interaction is like Vegeta and Frieza, or Harry Osborne as the Goblin and a Symbiote Spider-man
00:54 is my favorite. Shadow is absolutely losing his mind in his rage and Sonic is just trying not to cackle at his ignorance.
And the worst part?
Sonic is right. She'd hate what Shadow became right after her death. Her sacrifice.
@@TheRibottoStudios I don't think she'd hate him; I think she'd pity him. The impression I got from Maria based on all the scenes we see of her is that she was kind and had a great deal of empathy for other people, even the ones who hurt her, in the end.
I think she'd hate Shadow's actions, but ultimately pity him and want to save him.
But deep down, Shadow knows that Maria SHOULD hate him, and that's why he loses his shit. Because even if Maria is too kind to hate him, Shadow knows that she should, and Shadow probably hates himself, even if he doesn't want to admit it.
So he puffs his chest out and squares up with Sonic to save face, knowing deep down that he's a piece of shit and isn't living up to the memory of a girl who was far too kind and loving to have ever wanted any of this. Because then he has to admit that he's not doing this for Maria, but for himself.
THIS IS GOATED! SEGA NEED TO HIRE THIS MAN TO MAKE AN OFFICAL ANIME SERIES!!!

Love this animation, it really interprets what we know about dark sonic and shadow's free form amazingly. I just love how Dark Sonic is completely unfazed and enjoys mentally torturing Shadow and even when they got in the hand to hand combat with Shadow being unleashed, Dark Sonic looks like he genuinely loves the feeling of destruction and violence. Amazing animation and amazing storyline. Sega should hire yall tbch❤

So shadow wins either way, as even if Sonic manages to kill him, Sonic is now all alone on a desolate planet without life and will go insane from the isolation. Not to mention all his friends are gone too, all because of Shadow.
Kinda puts into perspective how dangerous Shadow was/is, as if he didn't have a change of heart, the Earth would've been fucked regardless of anything Sonic did.
The thing is, the only he wanted to destroy everyone was not of his own will technically, his memories and mind were reprogrammed by Gerald, in the end, the old Robotnik's mad plan is the one that saw the only win. Shadow is only a collateral of this

This is a perfect way to reintroduce Dark Sonic to the franchise (possibly the games)! I’m wondering now how Sonic turned into this form and if characters like Amy or Tails would attempt to prevent this “rematch”?
Amy and Tails cant do anything, Because In this timeline the Space Colony ark collided with the earth. Killing alot of people including sonic's friends.
Which is why sonic is dark in the first place.
