I have 2 other suggestions (although these are great ideas too!): - AntiX - I tested this on a 4GB system and it used about 250MB after boot, despite being fully featured with network and power managers and a number of built in apps. Actually, it had too many built in apps for my liking! A lot of which are actually just shortcuts to scripts. The build in DEs are noticeably lacking on certain features though, but not really an issue. - PeppermintOS - this is the most efficient implementation of XFCE I've found, with RAM use being about 600MB. I freed up a further 40-50 by replacing the WM with Openbox. XFCE is fully featured DE and there's a version with plenty of built in apps so honestly, you lose very little even compared to say Mint. I generally found installing other apps much easier on Peppermint, probably because it isn't stripped to the absolute minimum like AntiX is.

Hello, I love your content and have been watching them over 3 months now but I have a small suggestion for you, Whenever you talk about lightweight distros please run the htop command in the terminal and show the memory usage. Thats the only way anyone can know if a distro is actually lightweight or not. A website can claim a distro to be lightweight but the question is how lightweight is it. Windows users can simply use Atomic distros, but probably wouldn't know what Linux actually is. They wouldn't get the experience of using the true power of what Linux has in store for them. For begginers, trial and error is what it is all about. Repository dependancies break, you have to use the terminal, and all wrong, unexpected things do occur. I suggest you to make a video about how Windows users can make the switch to Linux.
