If the Corolla and Camry had AWD, I'd consider buying them. Toyota really doesn't understand the needs of the Canadian market, or they're completely alright with bringing all sales to the RAV4

It looks great, has stellar fuel economy and will be just as reliable as all my other Toyota's. If i was commuting by car this would be a no brainer.. since i dont i have treated myself this past April to a pristine condition 2013 Lexus ES350 with only 30k miles. It now has just under 34k miles and is solid like a tank and quiet like a vault !! 6 years old and it still has that new car smell !! Original MSRP was about 52k, bought mine for $18,700 . Original owner traded it in to a local Volvo dealership, crazy but true... went from the best most reliable car to an empty money pit! Thank god for that ! I was told by the salesperson the Original owner also traded in a very high mileage BMW as part of a 2 car trade in... My ES350 must’ve been his wife’s car, and definitely garaged and a solo driven. The other seats look like they were never sat in . Bottomline is Toyota/Lexus are the most reliable and best built cars/trucks !!

You Americans are lucky. You call that car "a boring thing that you drove in college". In my country that's a luxury car (bottom of the line but still luxury). I will kill for having a car as good as this one :(

My CVT transmission has failed in my brand new 2020 toyota Corolla SE with not even twenty thousand kilometres on it it's under warranty but toyota has kept my car for over a month and I still haven't received my car back! If you're looking to buy a new car I would "not" recommend a Toyota with a CVT transmission and I strongly believe that new Toyotas are not as good!

As always Micah, amazing job my friend. I really wish KBB had you do the C8 review. The Corolla is really nice but I hate that they still don't have Android Auto after all these years and that sharp corner on ther dash you hit your knee on getting out of the car. 2L engine is a must in this car in my opinion. Wish they offered the 2L on lower trims to keep costs down. The

Blake, agreed! I do not like the fact that modern cars are overly heavy with electronics. Though Toyota is likely the best, not sure how these will fair in terms of longevity compared to Corollas of the 1990s and early 2000s. They should offer a stripped down model with a manual transmission and the 2.0 L engine. More power and performance without the unnecessary crap.
