Now here's something actually unexpected. One of our prime DLC character candidates just got herself disqualified. Or did she? Also, to nobody's surprise, Byakuya is more Void than In-Birth.

Honestly, the fact that Zohar fought Kuon makes it MORE likely she'll be playable, since it confirms she has to strength to at least reach him.

But that ENTIRE plotline just being addressed with Byakuya so simply makes it feel incredibly trivial.

Ohhh, Byakuya. My favorite character in the lore. How I adore you… and a lot of this Arcade Mode.
His interactions with the extra characters are really cool. Vatista sensing him as more of a Void than an In-Birth makes sense, but that danger level emanating from him is really cool. Kaguya messing with him is also pretty funny.
Then there’s Zohar. Ohhh how I wish we got to see your sprite… but I like the idea that Byakuya fulfills his dues to Tsukuyomi and then just… vanishes. Perhaps his heart has found solace in his relationship with his deceased sister? Or perhaps, he feels as if a replacement simply isn’t enough? He does stop calling her “Sis” by the end.
A lot to unpack, and a lot to expand on. I really do enjoy this one, even if it feels pretty rushed.

Is it time for Tsukuyomi dlc? Or Zohar since she fought Kuon at some point of the story?

Kinda want both now, but I doubt we’d be that lucky. We could see the rest of Zohar’s Arc up to her confrontation with Kuon, and this clearly seems like the start of a solo Arc for Tsukuyomi too that could be pretty interesting in itself!

Yeah that'd be lit, but I'd honestly take Strix if we only get one. She's so damn cool and even though we have Eltnum as our cool purple haired chick, since she's a guest who'd have an entirely different kit, with a 4th wall meme trope, I think it's fine.@@StreetFighterWWE

Can’t complain about Uzuki and Ogre AT ALL though, and I figured they might bring Izumi in, since it seemed odd to introduce a new NPC out of the blue like that, especially in a new character’s Story like Tsurugi’s. She also seemed to be pursuing Kuon as well, guided by her fish. Hopefully we get another if this sells well enough.

Byakuya arcade mode? More like Stryx arcade mode but all the fight done by Byakuya, lol. The ending is very anti-climatic as well, we don't even see Zohar sprite or hear her voice. Such a build-up from UNIST was simply for this? Kinda makes this plotline almost pointless.
