Sawyer makes a picaridin lotion too! Super easy to apply, you always know how much you've got left, and it's literally the only thing that keeps mosquitoes off of me and my kiddo. Otherwise, we get eaten alive in semi-rural Hawaii.
Mark I have battled chiggers and ticks for years but never tried sulfur powder! I have used Chigg-Away after getting crushed by chiggers and that had sulfur in it. I love the shirt by the way!😁
Very interesting! Will have to give a try to some of this stuff. I use that white sawyers picarian or whatever its called for gnats when im working in the yard. it works great but man does it burn when sweat brings it into your eyes.
Grew up in Texas using sulfur around the boot tops and pant legs from knees down ..... works like a champ against ticks and chiggers. It will come off when wet so one must reapply often in damp environments. Carried a dress sock in a ziplock bag in the truck for years ...
When I was a kid and we had lots of blackberries we would take turns dusting each other with sulfur but you have to get it on heavy around ankles and boots
