Thank you for sharing. I actually commented on the blog post, but forgot to mention how much I've struggled with weekly layouts--weekly layouts in my creative bullet journal and in the Weeks are still very much a work in progress.
thx for the vid Carrie. Looking at a CS WC for my weeks so this is great. Random comment - sorry to do so online & its none of my biz- but have you had the mark checked? No doubt a birthmark or art ink mark or similar. But since Dad died from melanoma in October 2011, I just come right out & say it. A skin check can save your life.
Those are from a Snap Stories sticker set that I found at Michael’s a few years ago. I found them once after that on Amazon, but unfortunately haven’t been able to find more.
I don't know why but I'm so tickled over the fact that your name is Carie and then you say this is my every day carry. I don't really get the weeks cover. It's not at all for me but I'm glad other people like them. Love my hobonichi weeks though
Love love your videos but I do have a question. Isn’t there a daily section in the hobonichi weeks so why do you use a separate notebook for dailies. Thanks for all your amazing videos. Just here editing. For some reason I thought there was also a daily in the hobonichi weeks but as I was watching another video and I look at the book I wanted to purchase on amazon, I realized my mistake 🤦🏼♀️. I just thought I should admit to my lack of knowledge. 😂 Thanks again.
Thank you for your kind words! There is a section of blank pages in the back of the Hobonichi Weeks, after the weekly layouts, but there are no daily pages. I considered using those blank pages as daily pages, but, after adding the lists and whatnot that I wanted in that section, there was no way there were enough pages left over for dailies for the year.
Those are from a Snap Stories sticker pack that I got a few years ago at Michael’s. I found them one other time on Amazon, but unfortunately haven’t been able to find them since.
I love your videos. I love your planners. I love your delivery. I love you! ! Ps what does your husband do? Is he a player, or a manager or a physio? ? Xxx (I'm assuming that was Liam giggling? Just adorable xx).
Goodness, thank you! That was Liam giggling... he was trying so hard to be quiet while I recorded! 😂 My husband is a physio, and is blessed to have a career he loves so much.
The cardstock covering the front two inserts are digital scrapbooking paper from Rosabebe on Etsy. The clear sheets that I wrap around my Weeks are just clear acetate from OfficeMax. 😊
I use a metal ruler and a utility knife. Measure twice, mark, and cut. 😊 I know some people use an Exacto knife or a rotary cutter, but I’ve never tried either of those myself.
VesperLestrange, I don’t know what Carie does, but I have used DIYFish inserts and used 28 or 30 pound paper. It’s just a *little* thicker than regular paper so the pens I use don’t show through as much as they do with regular (20lb) printer paper, but it isn’t as thick as cardstock by any means.
I usually print inserts on 20 lb paper. (I didn’t print any of the inserts in this setup, though.) I print die cuts and insert covers on card stock, usually 65 lb. 😊
It is always so delightful to watch your videos! Thank you so much, Carie.
You mentioned planning on the go. Could you do an update on your mobile office and/or what you keep in your planning bag (if you have a planning bag)?
Hobonichi weeks is such a great planner, so many options for weekly layouts.
I’ve been having so much fun tinkering with different layouts every week!
So cute. I have a difficult time deciding which layout works for me. I’m still searching😁. Thank you for sharing and have fun🤗💗!

I know you’re so busy with the magazine and other work, but oh, how I miss these videos!
So nice to see a new video!!! Perfect setup, cute, pretty and functional!!!
O.M.G!!! I am so thrilled to see you again and with a gorgeous planner!! LOVE!!!
Hi I'm wondering if the weeks will fit in the pocket with the cover on cover on?
Great video! What did you use for dates? Are they stickers?

Got to love a setup video i always watch with a note pad so i can remember all the cool ideas thanks again for sharing xox
I’m so glad the videos are helpful! 😊💕
Love it Carie! Where did you find the small white month side tabs? Been looking and I can’t find. Thanks😉

Carie Harling thanks Carie💕
Is this calypso or Penelope? My calypso is more eggplant purple than yours

My husband calls me his Every Day Carie all the time! 🤣
Aw that's so sweet!

Really love your setup! Makes me wanna use my weeks again :)
Do people ask you about your sparrow and then you give them a card? I should do that!
It happens a lot, and that is exactly what I do!! 😊
Hobonichi looks mlike a great option for an 'on the go' planner. Where did you get the tiny monthly page flags? Do they come with the Hobonich?

Hi. I was just wondering where you get your weeks dashboards from?
The cardstock covering the front two inserts are digital scrapbooking paper from Rosabebe on Etsy. The clear sheets that I wrap around my Weeks are just clear acetate from OfficeMax. 😊
How do you trim down the notebook inserts?
I use a metal ruler and a utility knife. Measure twice, mark, and cut. 😊 I know some people use an Exacto knife or a rotary cutter, but I’ve never tried either of those myself.
Where do you get your tabs?
I'm also wondering where the top and side tabs are from- they are great!
Do you just print everything out on regular printer paper?
VesperLestrange, I don’t know what Carie does, but I have used DIYFish inserts and used 28 or 30 pound paper. It’s just a *little* thicker than regular paper so the pens I use don’t show through as much as they do with regular (20lb) printer paper, but it isn’t as thick as cardstock by any means.

Carie Harling thanks! I was just about to ask about the card stock. Do you have a favorite brand?
I honestly don’t have a favorite brand... I grab whatever is available at Target or OfficeMax. 😊
