I enjoyed the video very relevant as I've just had my first service which cost £160 approx $197! Thanks for helping me understand the ride modes - especially wheelie control!!
Great vid, I got my first service last Friday, I know its painful handing over money for a basic oil change but if you invest in this kind of bike and you want to keep the 3 year warranty intact it's worth it hassle free any problems you just go back to the dealer 🤷♂️ Cheers 👍
my dealer said 250 I fell down...I have nearly 150k on various suzuki and yamaha over 15 yrs and never used a dealer Plus they do not lube the splines . So picked up some.torq kit and a moly lube. Now I only had it for 2 days and have only 100miles so a weekend of riding and then do this.
Picked up my 2021 GSA triple Black last Friday. 8 miles on the clock. Straight into Dynamic pro mode. I can confirm that wheelie control is off in that mode 😏. No need to thank me......
First service $400 to $450 US?.? I just had my first 1000 km (600 mile) service done on my new 1250 GS. $250 Canadian. . US BMW dealers are a lot more expensive.
For sure. I'm not sure of their hourly rate but I'm guessing its around $150/hr. Figure a couple hours and then some materials. If you think that's bad I remember when I had a BMW 328i, I couldn't sniff the dealership for less than $500 to $1000 a visit.
Would like to warn the readers that "Dynamic Pro" is no different to "Dynamic" with engine performance on the 2021 plus models, all it does essentially is reduce electronic safety devices. By default D/Pro turns off wheelie & lean angle traction control, see manual. If a GS or GSA is ridden hard on the street & you have it in D/Pro, be warned because under higher revs it is going to pull hard out of corners thus the issue. Leave bike in "Dynamic" as bike can be ridden faster & safer. Basically D/Pro is just a advertising gimic unless you plan to ride the bike on the track & dont mind wheelstands & wheelspin out of corners. Ps, if you want to wheelie, just turn off TC with the switch on L/H controls.
Just purchased a 2023 GSA yesterday and set it to Dynamic Pro mode and almost looped it. My RR is a 2020 and and it still uses the plug. Figured they were still using the plug in my new 2023 GSA. My neighbors probably thought I was drunk, it wasn't a 12 o'clock, more like a 10:30 lol

Thanks much Derek, hope you are enjoying the bike
Hahaha! "We have Master techs that can get you in and out"
5 minutes later... "I just learned something, We both just learned something"
I just had my 2021 1250 GSA serviced. I'll check out the driving modes today. Thank
Definitely give it a go, it's super simple to adjust the main 4 you have selected while riding.
Am having accelerating problem
Fun fact. The little plug under the seat for 2020 and earlier just simply shorts the wires. A paper clip will work just as well.
Pro tip : you can watch series on Flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Leonidas Korbyn Yea, I have been using Flixzone} for since december myself =)

Trust taking it to the Pro... who only just figured it out himself.
🤔
In fairness, I'm nowhere near the expert in my field of employment and I run a fairly large business...but I know people who know things.
@@MotoBeemer apologies, it wasn't directed at you... you do a great job with your channel 👍 It was just surprising that the "Pro" wasn't 100% sure.
