I wish wish wish you would do side-by-side comparison on the varieties that are similar or could be mistaken as the other.., As an artist, I’m obsessed with color- So I’m finding as time goes along I’m discovering more about the varieties. It’s slightly confusing because some sites vary information from yours, but everyone knows yall are the go-to for information... It would help so much if you mentioned the incorrect information floating around on the varieties... Right now, my last personal hatch, I have 4 to 6 of what I believed to be silver or a pied of some sort- but now Im seeing dilutions of German Pastels- I wonder if they arent GPs... Thats why I think side by sides with ones that look similar would help so many of us..
The only book available on this topic is Coturnix Revolution and that needs a re edit.... certainly needs a new book,, ....I would certainly purchase a copy ....
Wow. I’m just a beginner and see I have a lot to learn

Thank you.
Thank you for doing this one.
Maybe in the spring, when I am settled with the white wings and jumbos, I will get some of these german pastels, and start my experiments.
I love my German Pastels!!
I like the German, but I am I am wondering, how are they for the winter like without a heater barn are they pretty good on that?
They are all the same as far as handling the cold
We have two Qs who are a soft dove gray with touches of soft gold blended in. What might ours be?
Sounds like silvers
What is the best bird to raise the fastest
Jumbo wilds and jumbo whites
So I’m guessing if we decide to add the German pastel collection to the ssc eggs we’ve ordered that we will need separate housing.
What was so wrong about mixing ssc in?
The silver gene makes the birds more sickly. If a quail gets two silver genes (one from mom and one from dad) it will die.
@@nacht-eil are you sure about that? Myshire farm still offers silver collection hatching eggs. They wouldn’t do that if they are sickly and die easy?
Do you ship pullets
We ship juveniles and breeders every week
Iam interest to buy eggs, do you mail?
