If you don't hit the lever on time at the end of the level, the train will crash, killing everyone. The screen fades to back when that happens but thats very graphic for a kid's game...
0:00 outdoors version 3:17 cave version That golden gobbo bonus though. That GOD DAMNED golden gobbo bonus. The only reason I had to redo that level SEVEN times to complete it 100%, just because I always ended up falling in that specific bonus part. At least the music was very good. Probably my favourite one in the whole OST, along with the remix of the desert theme from Croc 1 in the Inca village.
Oh god that bonus level caused me so much grief as a kid, just praying that the game wouldn't randomly fling me off the ledge. The stressful music certainly didn't help either
I believe this level is a reference to that short film about a villain kidnapping a woman and tided her on the railway, even the piano music is used in the 1900s to 1920s silent movies.
This is a musical masterpiece, just listening to the music alone makes you think of a train and the arrangement makes you feel a desire to rush, this was composed so well
This level & song is really good. Just wish it had a time limit to get to the lever & change the tracks so the music would fit even better with how fast paced it is.
I only hated the part was when you're running on the path next to the cliff, fighting against the controlls to stop Croc veering to the left and plummeting to his death or hitting the invisible wall of death when making a jump.
PlaystationCentral82 I never thought of using the side step option when running. I'll try that next time I'm playing on the PSP. Still hate hitting the invisible wall of death when jumping over the gaps though.
PlaystationCentral82 I still have my original game but I copied over to my PSP last year. I'm out a lot more than I'm in doors so it made sense to transfer it over. Makes long bus jouneys pass a lot quicker.

All you had to do was follow the damn train, Croc!
This soundtrack plays when I'm late for work.
Tiia Kahila xD

This level was absolute HELL. This music is so much anxiety. And still, I love both to death.

It's like trying to catch a train to get to the airport on time to catch a flight!!
