Good point. The simplicity of this video is very captivating. More than that, she sings a good story as well. I've noticed she builds the songs with her dynamics and it draws in. For example, in her cover of Defying Gravity where it's just a wall, Christmas lights and her in her red collared shirt, I am so drawn to the song. Then belts/sings/says (???) the word "FLY!" and I want more!! But anyway, no flashy costumes or makeup or graphics or a million dollar production; just eye contact and a clear voice. Anyway, great reaction.

I didnt grow up listening to Mariah. I didnt really listen to the radio. I spent my childhood out with friends, watching films or playing games.
