- Hi Friends, Welcome back to the craft castle! Let's unbox a brand new Siser Juliet and talk about the differences between the 2 machines.
One key highlight I forgot to mention in this video is 1 major key difference: YOU CAN SAVE YOUR SVG FILES ON SISER PROGRAMS! With the Cricut you CANNOT save your SVG files.
If you were asking for my personal opinion, it would be that the Siser machines & design program is hands down WAY better than the Cricut machines & program. If you are a seasoned Cricut user, yes the software if going to be different to use, but I tell you right now you won't be upset with switching from Cricut to Siser!

I love the shelf you have all your machines on!! I have lots of machines too and need to use my Siser more!! I got a Maker, Air3, Maker 3 , Joy , Brother ScanNcut, Cameo4 and Cameo 5. I want to get a curio 2 next. :).

I love using the Juliet and Leonardo Design software it’s way faster than cricut . My only regret is I wish I knew about this cutter sooner before I bought my second cricut cutter this year .

Same blade for regular htv and glitter htv? I cut a lot of Mylar for reusable stencils.
yep, same blade for both regular and glitter the only thing you'll need to change is the cut setting on the machine.
hi. will the siser allowe you to cut bigger images than the cricket? im debaiting wheather or not ro get the Juliette. Thanks
The P&C feature on the Siser is WAY larger than the Cricut. and you have the ability to cut as long as your material will allow with the Siser, no matter the brand of material you're using.
Does Siser always print the sticker design a little smaller than the backing to make it easier to peel off ? Is it possible to change this in the settings ?
I don't think so, you have to set it to have the easy peel
Do siser machines need calibration? It seems like lining the blade up with the carrot is it.
Zero calibration needed!
What is the actual cut area? What is the maximum print then cut area? I have been a long time Cricut user, but constantly have connectivity issues and errors. It can take up to 4 hrs. to complete a project after the steps to get it to work.

Cut area is 12” wide by whatever you want in length.
Can you use pens and stuff with the sister?
some pens you can!
Is this compatible with Mac?

This I’m not too sure about.
Yes and No. For IOS “IPad “ no. For Windows Surface Yes. Not sure if and when Siser will have an IPAD version. We’re still waiting for a Rotary blade for both Juliet & Romeo. So, how knows when Leonardo software will be available for all devices.
