Getting such a client with such good taste itself a big achievement...In my case I suggested client to go with concrete wall.. I almost ended up losing the project. Now they are happy with red & Yellow walls.
I actually love the instrumental play at the background in first 5 minutes of the video.. The whole video in every way from design to explanation to that block model, was flawless.
I'm a diploma holder of Architecture. My heart felt respectful to you regarding this site. A very good explanation by the architect. Need such type of professors in the colleges. Very interesting to follow.
Architects and builders are the most important people for civilizations time immemorial. They are so integral to life whatever the status in life we need them.Kudos to buildofy for such amazing buildings.
This is not everyone's cup of tea, but I can connect a lot with this house. Loved how they executed the model. I would extract certain concept from this for my dream home. Thank you buildofy Looking forward to more videos like this
How do you find such cooperative clients, mostly I would say 90% client interferes in the design process and ruins all the efforts and drama which you have thought or created in your design. Beautiful design, very well thought out and very well explained. Very dramatic use of light and very well carved form. excellent Work Matra Architects and Good Luck for future.!
The conclusion about the house being a canvas wherein the people and life will gradually come, beautifully conceptualizes the architecture shown. It would be very interesting to see the house growing over time! Great work Buildofy in showcasing such content. !
The beautiful explanation has made me realize that First impression is not the last impression. This is infact a masterpiece. For all those, who feel this is without soul, they must not have seen the film completely. Wonderful feat by the architect. Kudos!
I have been following you from last 3 years and love your work a lot , but this is the best episode I have seen yet, this is a old video 4 years ago one, but watching it again in wholesome sense clalrifies the architecture and how a project is done and what are its parts. Loved it a lot.❤️👌🏻🙏🏻👍🏻
beautiful, minimal but richly elegant design and use of materials. The Architect has put so much thought in to this home. ... I must say also his voice is very soothing and it did not escape my attention that he is really quite handsome too...
One of best architect i saw on these channel i saw it the first time it wa posted i came here to see it again and again for the rest of the time it exsist well explained well thoughtful design and i guess a good teacher too
Loved the way you dismantled the model to show each nook and corner for us to understand, even your voice is soothing. You have designed it beautifully.
Very nice initiative by buildofy. We as students of Architecture get to learn a lot from such videos. Thank you for contributing to our knowledge. I request the concerned authorities to come up with more videos of this type. Thank you again 😊.
The architect strikes me as a man who has deep convictions about what he has read or dreamt of. I feel he will discard most of my ideas as “biases” and convince me to execute his own plans. Why I say this? Notice, he did not mention the needs of the household or client’s demands. His whole idea of client brief was to address the “biases”. I may be wrong but that’s the impression I got. And if that’s true, I won’t want him to come near to my plot when I start building :) My house has to be an expression of who I am and not what some architect wrote in a book somewhere in the world.
such a well-thought design solution for client's brief. The garden has a little less green though😅 (but i guess that's client's call) brillant adaption and modifications of Le corbusier's manifesto. Great work sir.👌
Liked the approch to discrib all the design process with details, easy to relate from sketches to actual views...... better than others short previous videos to understand real mind and process of designer..👍
Definitely a great teacher. You have showed some depth which very few has courage. The idea behind the entire form generated and story telling was absolutely what most of newer architect must follow.Beside that i just have a simple question why the cut out was not practiced in center of the building? A courtyard system or something like marqaf
You did try to do a good job and more or less you succeeded in that but i think there are some aspects were not very functional, like Staircases, spiral staircases and Samba staircase are very restrictive in-case you have to carry something big up and down or if older people in the house want to use them. Staircases should be wide and well lit. It may be lighting but Basement and some other areas too looked very dark and dull which to me doesn't look something very inviting to spend time in. This is just my opinion.
Really a very good content after a long time I must say... Ofcourse the planning and all the other aspects of it were discussed with the client and then constructed. But a small question was, though the house has two service cores and the wet areas are planned around them. Do they follow the vastu principles? Infact, is the whole planning follows vastu? Considering the client's requirements nowadays, it becomes challenging to achieve both the things simultaneously.
Fabulous house but given its height and multiple floors, right from a functional basement to bedroom at the top most level, a lift is mandatory. In this video, Verendra explains how the elders live in the bedroom on the top floor. Say a decade from now, they will find it difficult to climb the stairs up and down to socialise. In place of the spiral staircase, I'd put a capsule lift there so that mobility is not an issue for them as they grow older. In the present form to go immediately from the basement to the bedroom or hall on the top most floor or terrace is a task in itself.
from my experince architects are very proud of themsleves, and seriously i have a perspective, as soon as we are born we see the ceiling, and we are constantly surrounded by architecture, every person is an architect in that sense, it is not an enormouse feat to be an architect, , i still belive this profssion is for kids, and as adults architecture is a stepping stone, we should learn coding or so many other things to compliment the prior knowledge. robotics, astronomy, mechnical design. the list is long, i pity the architects who dearly hold-on to their profession even though there is nothing there, they are just lazy.
Hi I have seen so many vedios in buildofy .It is vey interesting. The quality of the materials are high class and perfect. How much will you charge for 30×40 =1200 sq feet .Please reply as soon as possible. Thankyou.
I wish we had such teachers in our college who explained so well.
Getting such a client with such good taste itself a big achievement...In my case I suggested client to go with concrete wall.. I almost ended up losing the project. Now they are happy with red & Yellow walls.
Architects are such visionary how they visualize in their minds eyes the outcome of their great designs.
The quality of story telling and film making was extraordinary. The house looks like a masterpiece.

Thank you Buildofy for this generous release. I strongly recommend the viewers to watch this video.

This is so beautiful. Almost felt like a poem. 💕
One word to describe this one: professional.
@24:31 That staircase is a recipie for disaster anyone falling on steps will have a nice 4-6 inch gaping cut on the forehead. Great going there.
😀

Do buildofy makes a complete house i mean including all the construction do they also provides labourers and materials or they just design the house
