    Brilliant and the fact you have put things you need in the description is super helpful. I wouldn't have even thought about the heart resistant mat

    Thank you! One question...am I wrong, or do a lot of other people in the videos just use high heat to begin with? I. don't recall seeing another video using slow, mediium and high heat. Was I just not paying attention or did the others have good luck with no cracks? Keep on having fun making those fun little guys! I can hardly wait.

      Have you ever used gold lustre/glaze in the microwave kiln? I can't seem to find a definitive answer for what temperature they get to. So I'm wondering if the gold will work

    Hello! What temp does the kiln reach?

    • @Angelacreatesart
      @Angelacreatesart  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Microwave kilns can reach temperatures of up to 1650°F, depending on the size of the kiln, the microwave's wattage, and what's being fired.

    I wish I watched your video before I used my microwave kiln. I've just melted the middle bit that turns the turntable. I will have to buy a new microwave now and use broken terracotta to place my kiln on.

    I love what you created, but I have a question about the metal on a few of your pieces. How can you microwave the metal with your pieces? Doesn't metal cause sparks/fire in a microwave?

    • @Angelacreatesart

      I have a link in the video for heat resistant wire,the metal jumps you see in this video was added after I finished firing the pieces and I forgot to film that part

    • @Angelacreatesart

      it’s the large kiln,there is only a small and large so if the listing says medium it’s not true it’s a large. I have a link in this video with the exact kiln I got
