As someone who's sang some musical theatre songs myself, I think I can fairly accurately say that you're able to channel the emotion through the very act of singing. It's still not easy to do, but I've done it. I've had a tear in my eye and after a couple of seconds you essentially just try the hardest to find the next line, and then you outright channel the emotion. Sometimes it can get to you though. I often end my holiday karaoke sessions with "For Good" from Wicked, and My Way by Frank Cinatra and more often than not I do end up crying, but I still keep going and love every second of it.
So fun watching her contain her exitement. I dont think anything will ever top that feeling she had in that moment. A lovely thing to see the happiness radiating of her. And it helps that she has the cutest smile ever.
