What was the mother's motive for always ignoring the son's needs? Why couldn't she show any real interest in her son? What happened to Lilly? Was Lilly secretly Richard's child?
Cutting ties like that is the only proper move. You cannot trust them not to hurt you again. My wife went through a betrayal from her mother and sisters, and we are far happier without them.
Don’t be selfish it’s the mother and her new man that’s being selfish. She took his college fund and told him oh you can get loans and blah blah blah. She can pay for her stepdaughter’s college if she’s so worried.
Never let nobody piggyback on your accounts. Make sure when you have an account is you and you are alone and this is the reason why this man’s own mother stole from her child to give it to another one.
If the account is made with the account holder being a minor, a parent or guardian must be on as an account holder. It's near impossible to get the name off the account or close it without the adult's consent. My mom set up a saving account when I was a kid and we tried to get her name off it for the past 10 years, but we have never been able to. Bank policy or something. If the mom did start the account, then the bank was in the clear to let her empty it out. If the grandparents set up the account and the mom emptied it, then the bank would have been in trouble.
My son Who's 23 is on all my accounts but for a specific reason. When I was 20 my mother found out she had cancer and passed 6 months later. There was no warning that she was sick until she couldn't get rid of Bronchitis infection. Turned out it was lung cancer and she had it for years. That's when my mother put me on her accounts. She did this so when she passed I would have immediate access to the money and be able to take care of myself. She didn't trust my father who she was separated from for over 20 years and my much older siblings to really do a good job of being there for me and she was 100% correct. I was her caretaker the whole time And was there holding her hand when she passed. My siblings were not strong enough to be there. My mother warned me not to put too much trust into them cause they were not strong enough to have my back. She said I know my children you're the strongest one they will avoid pain at all cost. They are 16 years,15 years, 10 years older than me. She was 100% right with everything she said. My son is a lot like me but.has his stuff together. He's smart, and strong, and he's a hustler. He loves to make his own money and be in control of his life. He has even invested his own money well at 23. I' am positive he'll never steal from the account. Since watching my mother become sick and dying this has always been a worry for me. That's why I put him in my accounts If something happens to me he's got that backup. I taught him Everything he would need to survive. Cooking , Laundry, Cleaning, and budgeting. Plus I know his father will not do the right thing. The mother in this story Sucks. But I also blame the deceased father. There is an account that you could put money in for a college fund that's locked down only the person who's that college funds for when there 18 and the one the who opened in the first place. He should never trust the mother.
Noah's Girlfriend: Do you realize Noah worked so hard for his college funding as if I already did joining the All-Girls US Navy team? I think you should pay for your stepdaughters university expenses joining the All-Girls US Navy team. Thank heavens my grandmother is a navy admiral. Looks like my mama-in-law needs navy and marine like discipline, even recuperating Noah's college funds.
He really should have taken legal action and brought mother down hard. Once she stole the college fund and then wanted his savings.. hmmmm smells like 3 day old fish to me. I don't believe in the "it is for the good of the family" BS
I was a Sr. Mechanical Designer/Engineer. Mathematics is not really used much in practical engineering and designing. Yes, in the early years mathematics was used to help develop many engineering concepts but once the principles were worked out mathematics was not needed. What is needed is the ability to look at something and understand how it works. I want to delve deeper in to this but at the moment I am in agony and suffering from either a bad kidney ( I hope not) or an injured muscle in my lower left back. The pain is beyond my ability to tolerate and everytime I walk or move around I make those noises associated with someone in pain and suffering. I have always loved engineering and how things work and that enabled me to have a long career and a family. Math? I'm not good at math at all. I can do arithmetic in my head but differential equations as he mentioned at 0:33 I was never interested in that at all.
Would have been nice to know the sentence of time in prison the mother got. Also, it would have been nice to know if grandparents helped grandson out with getting an attorney to sue mom civilly for money she stole from him. And if mom got 10 to 20 years in prison, as an example sentence, then could have sued for house & assets, then sold all to recoup college money. This is probably a made-up stupid story, as everything is written so vaguely!
How will Lily work at the cathouse with braces? Won’t she injure the clients with her mouth? But if she’s doing Richardson, will she need to work the cathouse?
Noah need to held his mother accountable for her actions for stealing her college fund. Noah need to press charges against his mother.
Mom f’d around and found out, you don’t mess with awesome grandparents.

Mother is facing jail time as it is....
I would have fired her, and in this case , no excuse wouldn't be enough, it takes a lifetime to build trust, and seconds to lose it.
Mom , the Extortionest . She is going to lose her son. Completely. Wow
Forgiveness means letting go of your anger and leaving the person with God
Well your not smart enough to call a lawyer ,your mom can go to jail for stealing your college fund .
Sue her now
That is the best choice.
We’re taught to honor our parents, however when having a relationship is unhealthy, I think it’s okay to keep them at a distance. Prayer for her.
OP should call the police pn his mother. What she did is stealing and is against the law.
What a horrible mother, that was his college fund You could’ve been honest before you went to the bank with him🤬

I am your mother that’s just an excuse. I can get away with everything.

It's true, fortunately that the protagonist has grandparents who love him.

If you can’t be a team player🤬

It's called breach of fiduciary duty, but you have to sue to get anything back.

All of these stories have one thing in common. The sticky fingered parent is rarely arrested for fraud. A felony.
The Bible (the Word of God) tells you what you have to do - forgive Matthew 6:14 & 15.
But it does not say you have to give them another chance.
OP should inform all media what his mother has done.
What happened to Lily???
Can't anyone come up with something new besides embezzlement and fraud?
What did his sister think of all this!
I bet the sister -is- the guy's daughter, likely they've been cheating for a long time.
What happened to Lily?
What a terrible MIL!
Question: Would you have forgiven your mother and given her another chance?
Answer: Why such stupid questions?
Embezzlement? Again!? Lame.
Am I the only one that thought was gonna find out she whack her husband? Just crazy. She was diabolical.
The Bible (the Word of God) tells you what you have to do - forgive Matthew 6:14 & 15.
Then I would stay away.
How will Lily work at the cathouse with braces?
Won’t she injure the clients with her mouth?
But if she’s doing Richardson, will she need to work the cathouse?
What does Mumsy muyht do with all her earnings from the cathouse?
How does Mumsy muyht talk with her mouth constantly full!
NO Chance 🙄🥱😏👎🙄
What a horrible mother, that was his college fund You could’ve been honest before you went to the bank with him🤬
