No way,OMG!! Now this is a blast from the past, what a tune, what a singer, what a Woman. Absolutely love every song of Tammi's how could you not. 62 yr old woman and this has just took me back to the best days best music ever. Love love love it.🥰👍
50 years since she passed away. But still listened to, still appreciated to, still beloved. And they will still do it in further 50 years. There was something very Special about Tammi.
Folks, this blazing original track was done by Tammi Terrell first in 1966! A year later, Jimmy Ruffin condensed the song with He who picks a rose ( a Temptations song) and finally in 1969, The Temptations had their version, which, was the first lead song Dennis Edwards had with The Temptations!
Ms. Tammie I just want to say that I'm so sorry of the things that happen to you in your life. I didn't know that David,James, and the other guys were so bad to. you. know that explained the reason their death was so bad. and that they suffer the way they did. they said that " PAY BACK IS A B***h " I only hope that GOD took you in his loving arms :) RIP
mikamoo52 I thank you for posting your comment. She was indeed a lovely beautiful talent. Her voice. I just love her just as Mr. Marvin Gaye did. Tammi at a very early age she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This two just worsen her situation. James, David too bad for not appreciating her self worth. Today I believe she would have been a legend. RIP
Hi steve THE correct title is as far as i have it is "I Gotta find a way " (to get your love back) it is the same as the Temptations Track of that name.. It is also the same backing track as He Who Picks a Rose By Jimmy Ruffin but i am unsure as to the title put out on the Tammi CD... Brent
Thanks for the comments Derek, have a listen to the unreleased I J Hunter track, being into motown i think you might like it. Best Wishes . . . Brent. Ps .. you have a ***** channel ... love it. B.
You are exactly right but "I Gotta Find A Way" sounds much better with this backing track, just as "He Who Picks A Rose" sounds much better with the track they used for the Edwin Starr version!
tammi terrell was gorgeous. a pity about her short life. why is it that women allow themselves to be in abusive relationships? Love yourself better, all women out there. Never allow a man to abuse u in any way - verbally and physically.
The actress Tamela Jones would be ideal playing Tammie Terrell. She has similiar facial features. By the way, this song is so Tammi, it is very much the way I think she expressed herself.
But did you see Empire's Taraji Henson in "I Can Do Bad All By Myself"? She was a dead ringer for Tammi Terrell at times, plus she sings and is a more natural choice because she is a greater box office draw!
