A very fun playthru, Mark. I appreciate your comments and the way you bent the rules. You are correct. If you roll below a 9, that's just too crappy a roll to be an adventurer, reroll as often as necessary until you get a 9 or higher. As for Forward, that's the way Liz wrote it, and maybe she does mean the opposite of backward.
