My dad use to always cover my mom's 1 acre garden with a thick layer (6" - 12") of cow manure that was sitting on a pile for months. He would then take and plow it under with our large 6 bottom plow, then disk it. In spring, he would disk it again and then my mom would use her big Ariens rear tiller to make it perfect for her garden. It was very fertile soil.

Ethan... when welding pieces like you were, bevel both pieces first, grind off at least 75% of the material so you can get a good root weld first. Then build your weld out by doing multiple passes. Thank you for sharing your lives with us! Ron

That broken weld reminded me working at my uncle's factory when they were a small company. My cousin was welding the stub axles onto plates. My uncle came in and asked, "Who let the turkeys in?" I was amused. However, my cousin said nothing at the time. When my uncle left the area, my cousin raised his welding helmet and he smiled at me. I was bolting the stub axles onto the end plates. By the way, Flexi-Coil moved from that small factory to a larger shop and then they expanded to the point where they had close to 1500 employees. New Holland bought them in the late 1990's. It's good to see you back again, I wasn't aware of your issue, I am fairly new to your channel, so I'm glad you decided to continue with it. My wife made a lot of homemade soap back several years ago, I hope your daughter does well with her soap, they look really nice. The leveler does a pretty good job, sometimes you have those types of issues with used equipment. Liked the video, good luck and god bless you all, have a great week.

I follow lots of others. One of my favorites was Harmless Farmer , Andy Ditwiler. Sadly he recently passed away at the young age of 54. Now his daughter and family are continuing with the Chanel. He lost both arms at a very young age, but that didn’t stop him. His feet became his hands. Anyway , I got off the subject of welcoming you all from Acres Of Clay back.

It's good to see you back again, I wasn't aware of your issue, I am fairly new to your channel, so I'm glad you decided to continue with it. My wife made a lot of homemade soap back several years ago, I hope your daughter does well with her soap, they look really nice. Butchering those chickens alone is a lot of work. 3 years ago i bought an automatic plucker and now i would not be without it.

Glad to see you back Ronda . I’m also glad that you made the decision to continue with your Chanel. I always followed your Chanel as I’m very interested with the farming aspect of life. I follow lots of others. One of my favorites was Harmless Farmer , Andy Ditwiler. Sadly he recently passed away at the young age of 54. Now his daughter and family are continuing with the Chanel. He lost both arms at a very young age, but that didn’t stop him. His feet became his hands. Anyway , I got off the subject of welcoming you all from Acres Of Clay back.
