My favorite candy of all time is sour big chewy nerds. They’ve been discontinued in the US for a few years now and I’d have to pay around $20 to have a single tiny package shipped from the UK. Maybe for my birthday
At least clearly Canadian is better than la croix. I am surprised at some of the items that are around now were once discontinued. Also some of these snacks I feel an intense nostalgia for some of these snacks and I yearn for the return for some of the foods in the early-mid 2000’s
Man I miss Fruitopia drinks, those were so amazing! Saw it randomly make an appearance briefly at a local McDonalds fontain drink section for about a month before disappearing again. ;(

I was hoping you'd mention Ninja turtle pies. I swear the food coloring made them test better, because a regular vanilla pie just didn't do it for me the same way.
Some other products I miss are Tony's Cinnamon Cruncher (cereal that didn't get soggy as fast as others!), Baskin Robin's Tea of Tranquility ice cream (Chai flavored with gingerbread bits), Popeyes' Flounder Fish Sandwich, and Trader Joe's shrimp toast (sounds weird but they were addicting). Also, McDonald's stopped selling salads altogether. I tried to order one last week and it was off the menu.
Count Chockula should be around year round like when I was a kid. It's by FAR my favorite cereal and I buy like 20 boxes each Halloween b4 the stores sell out and never restock well b4 Halloween itself. Sometimes it's even excusive to a specific grocery store that year like Krogers meaning an even smaller chance to grab them, or not at all if it's at a store you don't have in hour area.
I remember I tried the McRib once. I was getting picked up from school I think a year or two ago and I heard an ad for it's comeback on Spotify. I asked my mom if we could go there to get it since I've never tried it and after we'd gotten home and I tried it, it was the worst thing from McDonald's I've ever eaten. The pork had this weird rubbery texture, the bread was soggy and had the texture of a plain processed bagel from the store, and the sauce was okay at best. I don't even like pickles and those along with the onions were the only thing I actually liked! To add insult to injury, it gave me the most fucked up stomachache I'd gotten from a fast food item. 0/10 would not recommend 🤢
Being born in 84 and playing in the 90s, we got to see an explosion of new and now discontinued items. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pies was my favorite but such an obscure item.
Anyone else remember Ouch! Bubblegum, Gummy Watches, and Marshmallow Cheeseburgers? I remember getting the last 2 from a Walgreens as a kid. And the Ouch! Bubblegum tins always reminded me of the Tomb Raider 3 flare box model, and vice versa.
1:08 In 2001, the product itself wasn't discontinued completely. they just changed the name to "Shoutin' Orange Tangergreen". and again in 2005 to "Crazy Citrus Cooler", and was discontinued all together in 2006. so it's really 1965-2006.
since i (for the most part) have elimated processed foods from my diet as an adult, a lot of these (of the ones i knew of) i did not know no longer existed. i just go "no longer putting that poison in my diet" and dont go down that aisle in the grocery store. so for all i know, there is still dunkaroos and squeeze-its. man i loved those as a kid lol would put them in the freezer and make a slush out of it. BOMB
"Squeezits, mom's will love the 10% fruit juice!" Damn is that all it took to be considered healthy back in the day?? 😂 They were good tho even tho they were basically liquefied diabetes
You know I had forgotten about Cinnamon Tic Tacs. I consumed many containers of them back in the day. It really bugs me the decline of name brand cinnamon candies. Add Tic Tacs to the list, along with Brachs Cinnamon Discs, Atomic FireBalls, Cinnamon Fire Jolly Ranchers, Cinnamon Life Savers. About all that's left are Red Hots and Hot Tamales, oh, and maybe some Jelly Belly variants.
This has a LOT of legs. Discontinued restaurant food could be it's own iceberg. My favorite "discontinued" food I could think of is the Ben and Jerry's Cinnamon Buns ice cream. They have to bring that back at some point. Edit : 2:49 Really? Right Now is a Sammy Hagar-era Van Halen song. You had one job bro 😂
Crystal Pepsi has a huge following in Canada. They still re-release the drink into our market every so often, they do it at the VERY most once every 2 and a half years. Had it like a year and a half ago or even less lol so yeah it’s not really TOO discontinued over here. We love it quite a bit, I prefer its less acidic taste to OG Pepsi. Hope they bring it back with the new package design.
I have two McDonald's food items that I hope get mentioned in the next part. In regards to the Salad Shaker part, that was a missed opportunity to mention that salad as a whole is now gone from MD's. And then one not yet mentioned. A few years ago, they had chicken tenders, not just nuggets. They had Sweet N’ Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders (yes, I looked up the proper name) that were so good, but nobody ever seems to talk about them. I would love to have them brought back.
I also miss their crispy chicken blt burger, they used to use real chicken breast and a flatbread, now it's that weird regurgitated chicken mush patties and a sesame seed bun 😭 it has the same name but isn't the same AT ALL

Just found the video so I haven't seen it yet, but from that topic I instantly recall a limited edition cereal made for the Germany 2006 FIFA World Cup that was fantastic. The box was cream white, as well as the cereal itself which was shaped like footballs. Worth looking up, maybe it can be added in the next part.

I love this video, the quick and snappy commentary and editing, you did good my guy
You forgot to mention Vault. Coca-Cola's version of Mtn Dew which was discontinued in 2011.
Just because he didnt put one specific thing out of thousands of other discontinued items doesn't mean he forgot
11:57 that edit is the funniest thing I've seen in a while, I'm trying not to laugh at work thinking about it 😭
came here ever since the Cartoon Network Evolution video, gotta say, some of the animated segments here in here, all look so cool! keep up on the epic work!
forgot to mention as well with the illustrations here too, tehe. XP
thank Glenn for that. he has the magic fingers
@@AmusingLuis kudos to him! and god bless this amazing channel! ;D💕
@franklings_manor this is indeed an amazing channel.
The 3D Dorito cheddar jalapeños will always be the best flavor of Doritos, and you can’t change my mind.
My favorite candy of all time is sour big chewy nerds. They’ve been discontinued in the US for a few years now and I’d have to pay around $20 to have a single tiny package shipped from the UK. Maybe for my birthday
Yummy Mummy: The monster cereal that time forgot.
Dunkaroos are in a state of quantum superposition where nobody knows if they still sell them.
They are actually sold lol
You could probably buy them online.
I think I saw them at a Walmart checkout area in Texas
I enjoyed this video a lot!! I remember a lot of these discontinued products. It brought back great memories for me. 💛
At least clearly Canadian is better than la croix. I am surprised at some of the items that are around now were once discontinued. Also some of these snacks I feel an intense nostalgia for some of these snacks and I yearn for the return for some of the foods in the early-mid 2000’s
I found a hole-in-the-wall gas station with Clearly. The grape and cherry is better than maybe any of it's competitors. Except for maybe Hint.
this man used the classic 2016-17 whatculture intro music. instant like
Man I miss Fruitopia drinks, those were so amazing! Saw it randomly make an appearance briefly at a local McDonalds fontain drink section for about a month before disappearing again. ;(
They're still on shelves in Canada!
yeah we still have them!!
@@wasperine Not to mention Nestea Iced Tea since they're popular in Canada.
Just drive to Canada and buy a ton of it, you can get 4L jugs of the stuff.
Yeah we always had fruitopia in canada mam
OMG I thought I was the only one that Crystal Pepsi tasted similar like 7up. That's crazy....I honestly really liked it when they temporarily brought it back.
It didn’t have a citrus flavor originally, that was the comeback version
It did not. It was gross.
@@animula6908 ok? everyone has different taste buds.
My guy is back! May 2024 be a good year for you brother 🙏🏽
yessir. its gonna be a big year
I love that “The Bear” reference with the Ecto-Coolers
Those cream cheese bars gave me flashbacks I friggin loved those, I can taste them in my mind and I want one so bad 💀
This video was fantastic! Keep up the great work....definitely binging on your other vids later!
The McDLT was actually discontinued in 1990 , was then bought back a year later as the McLean Deluxe. Then became the Big N Tasty from 2000 to 2011.
The Big & Tasty was oretty darn good. Now I guess it's the Quarter Pounder Deluxe.
@@94115david technically yes lol
Hey, It's nice to see your content since its been a few years since I would occasionaly see your videos on tiktok. This video was really great to see more long-form content from you!
I can taste most of these…thanks for such delicious memories.
Kid Danger: *wearing his purple scarf on his neck wearing his mighty pup movie outfit* Oh my Princess Luna! Stop! Stop your list right here! I used to eat Trix Yogurt when i was a colt back in Cloudsdale!
The tmnt pudding pies were epic! Wish they would make a comeback
bro the BK cinniminis were literally the most iconic breakfast fast food item
Wait no Nesquik cereal in America? Man of all the cereals I see coming into Belize from America and many being weird collabs I think that the Nesquik one would be a long lasting one
We already have an equivalent product (Cocoa Puffs). My guess is that it didn’t break into the market too well when it was brought to the USA.
0:22 -0:23 how u scream after u have a nightmare about getting caught lacking by the booty bandit😂
New video 👍👍👍
I was hoping you'd mention Ninja turtle pies. I swear the food coloring made them test better, because a regular vanilla pie just didn't do it for me the same way.
#BRINGBACKTHEWAFFLETACO
The Taco Bell near me stopped serving breakfast period.
I feel like the Choco Taco should be on the first parts of this iceberg.. I miss it a lot I really hope they bring it back😭
PB Crisps are my favorite on this video. I miss the PB and chocolate 😞
14:42 what??
Count Chockula should be around year round like when I was a kid. It's by FAR my favorite cereal and I buy like 20 boxes each Halloween b4 the stores sell out and never restock well b4 Halloween itself. Sometimes it's even excusive to a specific grocery store that year like Krogers meaning an even smaller chance to grab them, or not at all if it's at a store you don't have in hour area.
wow I’m early 😭
I really like the summer night ambiance, it really makes it feel just that much more nostalgic.
Legit, the 7-11/Speedway version is better.
I got it when they first started serving lunch and so it was made fresh and I thought it was alright but yeah I heard it’s trash.
30:50 I can't believe that actually made me laugh
First, and hello.
Being born in 84 and playing in the 90s, we got to see an explosion of new and now discontinued items. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pies was my favorite but such an obscure item.
Damn I'm early
This, and part 2 *serves* as a prequel to discontinued nostalgia
Crystal Pepsi has a huge following in Canada. They still re-release the drink into our market every so often, they do it at the VERY most once every 2 and a half years. Had it like a year and a half ago or even less lol so yeah it’s not really TOO discontinued over here. We love it quite a bit, I prefer its less acidic taste to OG Pepsi. Hope they bring it back with the new package design.
7:00 Roofies included!
I also miss their crispy chicken blt burger, they used to use real chicken breast and a flatbread, now it's that weird regurgitated chicken mush patties and a sesame seed bun 😭 it has the same name but isn't the same AT ALL
Those tenders were all i used to get back then😭😭😭 i think about them all the time and quietly cry to myself
