Hi Greg! Antoine from Switzerland here and I found a recipe that I think you'll find really interesting: a pizza in a mug made in the microwave. Here we go! 1. In a mug, add 4 tablespoons of flour, 1/8 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of baking powder and add a pinch of baking soda. 2. Add in 3 tablespoons of milk and 1 tablespoon of oil (any kind) and mix thoroughly. 3. That's the dough done, add some tomato sauce on to the top. 4. Add some shredding cheese on top. 5. To add some extra zing, top with some herbs or small pieces of pepperoni. 6. Microwave for 70 - 80 seconds on high. I did it one night and it was amazing. It's absolutely revolutionary. Do give this one a go. It'll make for a great video, I'm sure. Keep doing your thing, Greggo! By the way, this, in my books, is the best video you've done in the past 3-4 years I've been here (besides blooper videos).
Update: Made this this morning and it was delicious! Thanks for the tips, I've now expanded my choices for breakfast. I used mozzarella cheese and some really nice smoked bacon (the super thick expensive kind left over from Christmas morning). Some of the cheese ran out of the mushrooms a bit, but that may have made it better getting crispy like that.
Just made it. A bit different. Had some cheese and bacon at the bottom and 4 season pepper on top with some red union. Tasted awsome! It was very salty though even though I did not add any salt to it. Not sure where that came from.
A lamella, or gill, is a papery hymenophore rib under the cap of some mushroom species, most often but not always agarics. The gills are used by the mushrooms as a means of spore dispersal, and are important for species identification.... I had no idea what the gills were...Google did :D
Idea...? place some "buddah" in the pan and beneath the mushrooms before putting them in the oven. Your recipe was a great one though with endless options. Yeah Grego!!

Greg-o, you can actually wash the mushrooms under gently running water and they will only absorb a minuscule amount. Alton Brown did an episode of Good Eats and dispelled that bit of false information. That said, the surface of the mushrooms do get a slimy feel that can be off-putting. Good low carb breakfast though. Looks delish.
I'm sure its just delicious as is (I could certainly manage that trio of 'em right now), however, that might just be the perfect final filling/topping for a world-class burger...
I stuff portobellas with everything! One of my favorite delivery vehicles for food into my mouth. One of my favorites is with crab. Mix your fake crab up with some cream cheese, shredded cheddar, and (crispy) bacon bits and bake those off. in the meantime make a cream sauce to go over top. it's simply one of the best things you've ever had, though not very calorie friendly :(
