- What a match-up this was going to be. With the white pieces, we have the young American talent Hans Niemann and with the black pieces we have Indian prodigy R. Praggnanandhaa. This happened in the 8th round of the World Blitz Championships 2023. Hans playing with white played the Italian and went all out to blow his opponent off the board. But Pragg is not an easy opponent to subdue. Check out who came out on top, in this highly stressful encounter.

I hate to see internet trolls and talking heads talk about Hans. Many of the top chess players have quirky personalities and the online cheating scandal as a youth does not take away from him brilliant play. These guys all work very hard and for the most part are very young.
The fact is there is abundant evidence pointing out he kept cheating even after the disclosed one. He cheated at times where he said he didn't.
@@BlueSky-vd6qhmaybe but it is also very obvious that he is capable of high level gameplay. His rating is definitely accurate that’s for sure
@@BlueSky-vd6qhthere’s no proof he cheated
Only cheaters like to defend this way. He was cheater and frequent cheater.
One time cheater...all time cheater..if you once lost your credibility, it's gone. Not to talk about the big money always luring.
Title seems to be wrong. Pragg won the game.
Clickbait
The title is fine, Niemann DID go all out to win. He stormed Pragg's king side with his pieces. He just wasn't successful in the end.
Pragg's victory speaks for itself
@@mr.soundguy968 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Title doesn't say that he won
Damnnnn the instant moves on like 8 sec seconds vs 25 seconds was craazyyy. Well done
Stellar defense from Prag my goodness
I can't imagine how hard for Hans is to try to understand morse code while playing this fast.

Good one.😄
@@11n_n Man your slow.
praggu..❣my heart beat increased when praggu to 1 sec on the clock

@happyrabbit7944 What a moronic post.
This was only The beginning!
Out in the parking lot they had a fist fight and they were throwing Dog poop at each other. And Knocked out two of their teeth.

I love the way hans set ups the board
Let's go Pragg
I SAW HANS SMILING AFTER PRAGG PLAYED BISHOP D7
Pragg, Thx for your great Game🏍🚗🦣
There was me expecting some kind of insane kingside attack but I didn’t see one sacrifice. He had 2 knights dining at h6 - he should have gone for it!
it's blitz though, really hard to go for it without really deep calculation
@@aaarrrggghhh Oh for sure - would have been a gutsy speculative sac.
That was his only chance. Crack that whole side open. He even had a rook for back up on the vertical rank up pin the king in the corner.
Such a blown opportunity. I'm sure he'll practice that position and possibly make the necessary adjustments
Ayy i was like let go of dark bishop and mate him there..
Hello Sagar sir ..... I have a doubt when will the Wildr contest end?? Because the world rapid and blitz is done... It is showing more one day that's fine but if we be in leaderboard top 3 then how to contact you sir??
Dude dude dude
PRAGG WONN!!!
Genial paliza en el final.Saludos.
Fun match from both players.
New year, new vibes
Marvellous game by pragg
Grande Pragg, pinta como campeón mundial!!!

Chess speaks for itself
Hello! Does anyone know what pieces they are playing with? I like the queens and the rooks!
Yes! Yes! Yes ❤! Awesome battle of two GREAT Chess protégés. In the end the best man won 👋!
I believe you meant chess prodigies.
A protege is a person who is guided and supported by an older and more experienced or influential person.
Pragg may be a protege (Vishy and other coaches), but calling Hans a protege sounds like a stretch.
@@joestudent7160 You are correct 👍! Thank you for your feedback, my Friend 🙌!
That's the neatest resetting of the pieces I've ever seen.
Unfortunately this time chess couldn't speak for itself!
After Nxb3 in the opening Black was already a bit better.
Fun fact: Hans keeps his phone on vibrate
Result?
Why does the title say the exact opposite thing lmao!?
Congratulations Praggnanandhaa!
Wow pragg
Niemann makes distracting movements with his body while Pragg's clock is running. (5:22, 6:55) Pragg should pause the clock and complain to the arbiter, but he doesn't need to. Pragg is a class act as well as a world class chess player. He saw far ahead of Niemann's attack, neutralizing it while ensuring a winning pawn endgame.
Bro pragg twiddled his bishop in his fingers for half the match...let's all be tattle tales and cry about our opponents
Are they not allowed to move?
Verey vibrant play Hans!
Lame joke
@@jigsaw2253 you were lame in the Saw
@@jigsaw2253 ... hans fan boy butt hurt that everyone KNOWS he's a cheater??
at some point he started to playing his own moves...and it was when the quality dropped dramatically.
Brutal game...
Edge of my seat!
What’s wrong with the meter? Also I was wondering reading the video title that how come pragg lost from Nieman😂 chess speaks for itself😂
FIDE Arbiter pay must be low. They don't even attempt to straighten the Pieces or Center the Clock before the game.
This was only The beginning!
Out in the parking lot they had a fist fight and they were throwing Dog poop at each other. And Knocked out two of their teeth.
Congrats to Hans
Bro , he loses
@@ernesto2237maybe this person hasnt seen the match-up yet,
perhaps saw this stupid title, and thought to congratulate hans :/
Pragg-dawg!
What do the beads foretell for 2024?
Please upload magnus carlsen vs Volodar Murzin🙏🙏🙏
Pragg is such an amazing player!
6:35 computer says nh4 right away no dxe5 and a sac is inevitable either with the bishop or a knight
Ty, I was wondering where Hans went wrong because his attack looked so promising. I was proud that I found c4 followed by Ra3, with the idea Bxh6.
It is not the chess that used to be. Players are subjected to despicable agony which could affect their health.
👏👏❤️
They matched the colors well 🤔
How come they don't get bored of this Giocco piano - it's the same hamster-wheel as Chigorin variation in Ruy Lopes, only with dillemas: when to play h3 and a3, "should I allow pin, should I be afraid of ....Bxg4/Bxg5" etc. Hans played bravely and should have tried with g5 before his rook was attacked. Sacrifice on h6 cane in consideration, too. It was obvious that Praghnanaandha was scared and in bug trouble, but it was also obvious that Hans was feeling unwell. He is good guy, lonesom, without bunch of hazy aids with connections in media.
Chess speaks for itself, ah?
The title is somewhat misleading... Hans got beaten by Pragg...
Pragg had to concentrate hard with all the buzzing sound.
But he still won
Hans playstyle gives such a strong vibes
Chessbase be like never let them know your next move 😂. Title mai hi bluff?
It seems clear that Hans was cheating previously to get rankings with the top 10 players. Now he doesn't have his "advantage😉" he can't even come close to winning or even placing near the top of a big tournament. He's naturally an excellent player, but nowhere near the top without cheating.
He defeated Gukesh recently, drew against Firouzja and had many nice wins this year.
@@daramurphy7193 Gukesh #25 ranking. As I mentioned Hans is naturally excellent but before he was called out, he was beating the world's best. Now doesn't even come close to finishing near the top of the list. Why do you think he had such a dramatic shift in performance directly after Magnus called him out for cheating?
@@jsparrowau What about his 2946 performance in the Tournament of Peace?
@@simonsays6026 remind me - who completed against Hans in that tournament who are even in the top 30 Fide ranked players? It's easy to have a high performance when you're competing against non-super GM players.
Very good title
Pragg speaks for himself.
Bien por Praggnan!!!!
Don't use clickbaits. this is a respected youtube channel. we anyway watch your contents. please don't play cheap tricks.
I don't think it was intentional. They meant Hans went all out to try and beat Parag.
Idk enough about chess to know about Hans ability, but it’s very obvious that his body language and eyes are completely insecure vs tried and tested top players.
TH-cam psychologists
Pragg won the game. Great
Goat button 🐐
The clickbait was so strong with this one. Who would've known chessbase are seo clickbait gods.
Watched all to the end trying to figure out how Hans beat Pragg in this ending.
wrong title 🤦🏻♂️
Prag is amazing
title should be nieman goes all out to win agst pragna but failed
Hans plays unorthodox chess
Hans Niemann forgot to
charge his Stockfish beads
I never get these jokes, how can someone cheat in tournaments without getting caught
can you not put spoilers of who wins in the description please?
yo correct the thumbnail bro almost fell off the chair
Prag won that game…why does the title suggest Hans won
he was the attacker at first
Tough tournament for the future goat Hans Moke Niemann
Komodo neeman
i will send him a goat to his fan mail address if he becomes one :)
India number 2 versus who ??????
I have a question isn't it annoying clock taping sounds in background for players in blitz game
While defending an endgame a pawn down in a tournament, I managed not to notice that it was the longest game in the round and every other player was watching us, so I don't think they pay attention.
All the results are well known at the very first of the game because Indian player never lose in this channel against other countries 😂
Just the video before this is of Arjun losing to Aronian but go off.
You probably don't understand much about the game..
Pragg ❤❤
OMG!
Neimann talks a good game ...Pragg plays a good game
Looks to me like Hans went all out to lose to Prag
Hans niemann- The Last Jedi !! May the force be with You.
woww
Respect to Hans for putting back pieces after a loss. Maybe Hans is turning a new leaf
Pragg*
also dress code. totally fine. in the end after some decades we will realize that he was the most truthworthy person in chess
For some reason I expected Nieman to win. I feel cheated!
It seems as though Pragg was happy with a draw. 8:55 - 9:00
that not a draw prag win the match you can see both the kings are on the black square at the end of the match
That's for increasing the time on the clock
That's a strategy people use to improve their clock time. Repeat twice and get addl 4 sec and that means a lot in rapid games.
Yeah, I didn't think Hans could beat Pragg without assistance.
Why not a bishop sac at 3:58?
Even in open position for king still it can escape
The queen may go there for a trade
Читак без стрима😂
draw?
Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa
Where is the all out part? You don't even understand what it means to go all out. He didn't take any risk at all.
Im from Indonesian good 😅😅😅
Prag needs better preparation for candidates
Candidates is classical, this is blitz. There is a sea difference between both.
Who won and how... sorry, still learning the game...
Pragg, as hans resigned
Pragg won. A good indicator for the future is pay attention to where the kings are placed at the end. If both are in black squares, black wins and vice versa. If on both black and white squares, it's a draw.
I wonder what their heart rates are.
caption is misleading Sagar bhai
pragg had won
Zero intention from Pragg. Only Hans was trying to win in first 95% of the game.
Thats the teason, he will never be a popular player (outside indian fans).
Not all out... he went out of the game while playing Pragg
why they play so slow? playing on increment in the middle-game already? for video content creator its nice, but for them its a (k)nightmare. Hans had such a solid advantage. he could have just waited with 1min on the clock to let him find good moves. Instead he opens up the position.
Well Pragg had to use time to not get mated, defend everything. Hans had +2 at one point but just couldn't find the win, probably was looking for mating attack and couldnn't find it so changed directions or something. I guess you could beat them both :)
@@PaulGoldstein yeah i thought so, that i might not have lost it with +2 and 10sec for Pragg. maybe he would have accepted my draw offer at that point :) for normal wins at world cup stage i need to pre-arrange it :D
@@Alexander-dt2eq Pragg is a superior player to Hans so no surprise in the results.
@@redeyexxx1841 in results no, just the way the got into time trouble once again makes me wonder how Hans prepared for this Blitz world championship. it looks like he just does not care.. just continues to freestyle
