All of these tracks look amazing and fantastic. 1-1 seems a little flat and uneventful to me, but the idea is pretty cool. Perhaps making it shorter and creating sharp corners (to create a perfectly square track) would've make it a bit cooler.
Agree with you on the 1-1 track. Personally I would have kept the track mostly the same but making it slightly smaller (width size) and adding a bunch of construction obstacles and toad workers to make it look like they are building the level. I would have done a optional branch path where you go through the shortcut warp pipe, which leads you underground for a lap
I really love the design of the broken rainbow road. In my eyes it looks like the normal rainbow road one day started falling apart and crashed onto the world. And because of this the world started glitching because this was not supposed to happen which also opened this portal thing
seeing this makes me really hope that nintendo goes for deep cut things like the arcade games, yeah they're done by namco but even still it would be really cool to see some of these as dlc cause there's an even smaller minority of people who've played those tracks

It reminds me of a Rainbow Road that broken up and fell to the Earth. Brilliant Idea😍. P.S. change the music for it, I'm thinking like some sort a racing sports car music with a pinch of rainbowness to it, and when you go thru the bright hole 5:42 the music should change into a heavenly rainbow music and at 6:35 back into the rainbow car street music🤗

The courses in the booster pass are very well designed, so I don´t understand the hate to be honest. Yes the textures don´t look that well, but they still are ok for 25 bucks.

Broken Rainbow Road is definitely the best here design-wise, though I'm not a fan of the music choice. Tetris is a classic and all, but an 8-bit rendition of the Tetris theme doesn't match the theming or aesthetic of a 4KHD broken technicolor rainbow highway at all.
I could imagine the GCN Bowser's Castle and GCN Rainbow either as a mod or release. Would be funny if the Bowser's Castle was just as creepy as the double dash version
could be many reasons 2 main factors could be that this is 8 for WiiU, not Switch, so mechanics could be different or they aren't the best at mario kart
Tbh I think broken rainbow road is like when you play a game in a dream and nothing makes sense, you're kind of just confused the whole time and it's not as good as you thought it would be. (a bit like sex)

Bowser Castle has slow downs due to it being unoptimized (it loads the entire track in a single block instead of hiding "off camera" parts)
