Public Reading of the Wayland Library Poets Workshop

Join us for a poetry reading by the Library's Poetry Workshop!
The Poetry Workshop meets twice a month by zoom and has been meeting since the 1980s at the library, having started in peoples houses even earlier. Since Covid the workshop switched to zoom.
Zoom made it possible for us to have members from far away. One of our zoom hosts lives in Nantes, France and one of our long-term members lives in New York City.
Our featured reader will be Linda Goldberg of Natick, who is both a poet and a prose writer.
After Linda reads, other members will offer one poem each.
We will also have two readers, Susan and Julie Geiser, who will read from their mother’s poetry collection, edited by our member Debra Martin. Their mother, Nancy Geiser, was one of our longest members and passed earlier this year shortly after hearing that her book was out.
