To my surprise, I have noticed a certain lack of precision in some couples' technique; Yulia Z., with her incredible footwork, is in a league of her own.
Look at that list! Russian ladies dancing! Yulia also Russian lady! The men - different! They dancing very fine! But all looks at ladies!
worker999 I have a feeling that all the ladies trained classical ballet when they were children; it is extremely difficult to surpass a classically trained ballerina, especially one coached according to the rules of the old Russian (Vaganova) school :-)

Ina's dress is fantastic on her. What a beautiful lady she is. All of them are so fantastic and I think I'd rather perform brain surgery than have to judge all this talent.
And also...since when Heidi from So You Think You Can Dance became a judge of Professional Latin American dancing??....Oh since she married Donnie.......way to go!!

How on earth Troels and Ina weren't 2nd. In PD even Kirill looked stronger than Dorin.

@@levente.k333 Which part you find hard to believe? Troels and Ina being 2nd or Dorin seeming weaker than Kirill?
If it's the former: Troels and Ina are very close in results with Dorin and Marina. If you look at the WC results the result between Dorin/Marina and Troels/Ina was very close and could've just as likely been the otherwise around - they were this [] close to splitting the placement on PD and just one mark in Rumba from Dorin/Marina to Troels/Ina would've changed their placements. CCC was also within two marks.
If it's the latter: I've never found D/M's ballet-esque style very appealing in PD even if it works very well for them in the other dances. As a couple they are stronger than K/P, but I find Kirill to have better opening of the hip and better connection to the floor in this final. D/M also have better coreography than P/D, IMO.
P.S. It will be very interesting to see the marks for this competition. WDC really needs to brush up on this regard and get on to this decade.
@@jukkalepparanta2463 you really seem to be sophisticated in this matter, i shall try to reply in the same way but it might not be as good as yours. For me, Kirill and Polina are big favourites, I would put them in front of both couples but I appreciate Dorin's and especially Marina's style more than the former Danish couple's. Despite of it, I think we all know that these results are all down to certain politics, like who had the more lessons with Donnie Burns, etc.. anyway, this video shows more of Troels and Ina than the Moldavians but for me there is no way the Americans should be ahead. I'm also curious about the marks, though.
I guess Dorin and Marina are better dancer than Ina and Troy.. Answer your queations??

Ina and Troels dezerve 1st. Julia and Ricardo are NOT fun to watch. Too much posturing, sexy innuendos and grandstanding. I wonder if they even love what they do (???) Or do they just love competing and trophies?
Nancy Archibald. I think they absolutely adore what they do. You couldn't possibly put in the work they do if you didn't. But I too feel the fame and accolades and success play a big part in feeding the passion.They have everything as a dance couple except perhaps for sensitivity especially in rumba. I'm not a fan of this dance from them They try but it looks artificial to me.
