- All sounds synthesized, sampled and sequenced by me, there are no samples from the original song, even in the backtrack. There was a good effort (and time) recreating the original sound with vintage synths. I.e: • DX5 workflow: sampling... .

Backtrack recorded on Pro Tools, including Roland Promars for the bass sequence (using filter's resonance modulation), Yamaha DX27S (the sine intro with some delay added), Virus for some extra modulations, and more.

Thanks SHPRYNX. It was time consuming to recreate it. I had to layer two different basslines: one of them is the Promars filter resonance being manually modulated for the take.

Me too. Had some hardware limitations for this cover :) . The DX7 was really a DX27S, small brother that includes some improvements like stereo Chorus, and a much more bigger memory area, with 192 internal ROM presets appart of 24 RAM locations.
well, it's rather the song "The Model"/"Das Modell" the one that can be considered as the first synthpop song in history, especially because of its simpler structure

I have watched your video and I have concluded that you are not the robots. In fact i have determined there are no robots to be found anywhere in your video. How ever it does sound good.
What synthesizer did you use to make the bassline? Its by far the closest i have ever heard
There are two layered sounds from the Roland Promars MRS-2. One is the main bass , and other is a resonance modulation manually done.

They create, then I make the sounds like they did ( th-cam.com/video/IAvIUAPb7Qo/w-d-xo.html) and record my cover. If you compare both songs (mine and original), you will find most sounds are not exactly the same. Right?

I would prefer a little bit less metallic distortions in vocoder, and a little bit better Russian part of lyrics.

Probably. I am not sure about the original source. The Promars did the job well though I had to record it several times (filter modulations were manually done)
They didn't had custom synths i heard it was minimoog and actually someone recreated the bassline with Minimoog very closely
