@chromaticcanuck The whole robots gag was because people said they looked like robots on stage in their early years, so they took it to this whole other level and had their mannequin/robots made, it was so good it's hard to tell in some videos who was the robot mannequin and who was real

Got see Kraftwerk twice in 2014. (The Riveria in Chicago & The Midland in Kansas City.)
We drank at The Green Room b4 The Riv show.
I took a chunk wood off The Riv's wall as a Sovingner
Pioneering music and concept.... Kraftwerk were absolutely precursor of today's music..... this performance has probably shocked the audience.

This crowd had no idea the legacy this band would achieve. Still skeptic at the time. Too avantgarde probably. Saw them at Roskilde Festival in Denmark in 2013 and it is still top 3 best live performances I've ever seen. Been to that festival for 20 years at least since the mid nineties and seen ALL of the great bands. Goosebump material when the played. 'oh so you came up with techno?' Cool. 'Oh you came up with house music too?' Cool.

A few years ago, I heard and downloaded this topic performed by another group on the Odnoklassniki social network. And what can I tell you, they outplayed the Crufts easily. The theme remained, but the instruments and rhythm were changed. It got better, but the performer is unknown, and it's a pity.

Kraftwerk’s music was truly groundbreaking. Time has proven them to be correct. Who would think and create music like this back in the 70s. A damn shame they are not in the hall of fame.

It's clear that Daft Punk was influenced by these guys. The use of vocoder and groovy beats and synths used by these guys makes me think of Daft Punk's music that would come less than 20 years later.

I hope that one day, soon, I will go with my dad to one of their concerts in Europe and thank both my Dad for showing me in my youth this song, and also to have him at a Kraftwerk concert where he never went! ❤️
@@ionserbanescu Ion, you are the same age as my eldest daughter, I'm proud to say she too has this album. It would be amazing to have attended a Kraftwerk concert with her. We have been to several gigs of other bands, music has been at the forefront of our relationship 🙂
