I don't see what the big deal is. All the kid wanted to do was to smoke his weed, not review film, not make his meetings, get burned in crossing routes, say he's not leaving then leave... what's the problem? He also got tired of playing for clicks and he wants to play for a real team.😂 We are going to really miss him😢

Listen man. I went to a highschool that produced a lot of great D1 players and the majority of us never went far because of our mentality. We thought we were sooooo good that we could do whatever we wanted and we would be fine and life kicked our ass. Never put yourself in position to be enamored by unproven talent. I truly believe due to his recruitment CU really didn't have time to vet him and went off his ranking and being from Florida. I don't believe that Coach Prime will ever make that mistake again.

I don’t think it was a mistake. When the #1 player in any position wants to come to your program, unless he has a rap sheet, I’m taking him and seeing what we can do with him. We have just had a run of bad luck with blue chip recruits at CU. Until this year 😉

@@alpinegaragesports2155 #1 ranking is enough to get anyone's attention, however just think back to his recruitment. CU getting him to commit was done on the fly. There was no vetting process, no school visits by the recruiters, and no dialogue with his coaches. The coach that had something to say made that statement as a "By the way" comment. If Coach had that information up front it might have been different.

Thanks again, AGS. Great comments. I wish Cormani well, but it takes a while for some to grow up and some never do. Coach Prime set the standard when he came in and real CU fans shouldn't want him to change it even if he wanted to. 5 star or 1 star, the standard is the standard. We all have seen this movie before in sports, and some college will lower its standards and let him slide through because of his talent and he will go on to the NFL to give some HC hell. It's the nature of the beast. Coach Prime as all of us is not perfect, but he does care about his kids and the program. He didn't sacrifice the program for one kid with talent and I'm proud of him for that. Yes, it costs sometimes but If more coaches took that stance we could cut some of this foolishness out. God bless you AGS, you're a straight shooter, and go buffs cause we here.

As much as I love Coach Prime. I feel I understand the “real program” jab. To me, Prime is still learning how to coach **student athletes**. I feel that’s his weakest area. There’s so many intricacies, nuances, and tactics needed to know about how to develop a player as a student (and not just as an athlete). Those “real programs” may have that part figured out and streamlined already, and that’s what Cormani wants and knows he needs.
How do I manage the stress? How do I balance study, practice, and still have a social life? How do I deal with being homesick? If I slip up, will there be grace (as not everyone respond well to hard nose/drill sergeant tactics). And other things. He’s not only just really young, but Cormani is also a huge introvert. And he also doesn’t express his emotions effectively and needs extra pushing in that area. I can see how tough some areas were for him. And I’m not saying they didn’t try to help him. I just think they weren’t ready for a personality of that sort, where other programs are probably a little more well equipped to manage it and help him better

I understand what you mean, but we have to be careful about labeling the program incapable or ill-equipped. The kid seems to be spoiled. That will take a toll on any program. Surrounded by hard workers and you don't want to go get it? It sounds ridiculous but we've seen these types of athletes before (talented and feeling entitled), but sometimes they have to hit rock bottom before they wake up, if they ever wake up. I hope he does. Enabling the kid will only cripple him more.

CP doesn't care what some rando Florida fan thinks about much of anything, but I do respect his decision to move away from what was obviously a dead-end situation with CM. IMO, Cormani is a zillion dollar talent with a ten-cent work ethic and bupkis for a sense of responsibility - plus a whole lot of growing up to do. Good luck with that after burning yet another bridge.

@@alpinegaragesports2155 I agree that he will absolutely receive another shot in the P-5 because of his measurables. Frankly though, I'm not as sure of his likely success in overcoming an apparent lack of maturity before it's too late to salvage his career. FTR, CM's behaviors and attitudes toward CP and CU are nothing new to the folks "back home." His conduct with UM and UF was plainly disingenuous and deeply disrespectful in both instances - and pretty much rendered him persona non-grata at both schools. When someone tells you who they are, believe them the first time.

It's unfortunate Cormani's leaving, but maybe the CU environment didn't suit his personality. He seems more introverted and may have lost interest somewhere along the way. I think there's over-the-top flash and glam in the CU locker room that needs to be dialed back. On the flip side, hopefully Cormani refreshes himself realizing that his talent has to be refined with study of the game, harder work ethic, improved press-man and recovery techniques on WR's , better health habits (no weed), and going to class. If it's true that he has 4 years left of eligibility, he was not attending the minimum NCAA requirements for practice/film sessions or school attendance.

You are being gracious and considerate while most of us want Cormani’s life to work out, facts and history shows a different probability, doesn’t matter what football program he goes to Cormani’s biggest adversary is lazy work ethics if you watch closely his outside of team drills and weights workouts are presentations for posting video content.
His past coaches speak the same comments about his traits. Cormani just quit on the best Coaching experience opportunity he will likely ever get that would prepare him for accomplishing his dreams at being successful in the business of football and media life

I think should go to Bama then he'll be close to home. Also, I think that he was homesick too. I'm a subscriber. I hit the LIKE Button too.❤ Thanks for sharing this video. They talk negatively about the kid and the weed smoking and the missing workouts but shouldn't the recruiting/scouting department be at fault here...Prime did a entire celebration video when they got him while at the same time taunting Miami Hurricanes doing a dance at a Downtown LA hotel super bowl week..so it is definitely a big deal..Maybe behind closed doors Corey Phillips and that department got the business from Prime about bringing in the Bishop Thomas's and Comarti McClains.

You know after talking to his High School coach and his mom Coach Prime knew what he was getting. Coach Prime thought CU coaches could help this kid get on the right path.
You would think he would listen to a man who was the best at his position in the NFL. I think his mom had a lot to do with him going to CU too.
She wanted him away from local crowd and the discipline and knowledge Coach Prime brings.

That video he put out tells us everything we need to know. He basically did what he wanted on the High School football team. The mature and respectful thing to do would be to leave and if you can’t say something nice then say nothing. Move on. He made his own narrative at CU. His high school coach told us exactly what we need to know. He has a special God given talent. In high school he played off instinct and college is different. He just didn’t put in the time and work the other new players do. His HS Coach said he hoped Coach Prime could get him to do the right things on and off the field so to speak. I’m very disappointed at the slight shots he took at CU and Coach Prime. Maybe Coach Prime was hard on him but it was because he cared about the kid. We discipline children for their own good. He needs to not say anymore negative things about CU or Coach Prime because it only makes him look bad. One time his mom said she was glad to get him away from his “Florida Friends” he grew up with. He may very well play on a team in Florida. Good Luck to this kid.
