That's something weird at Franklin when he has gave the call Trevor, he seems to be calm and peacefully in call line.Hence,he should have been extremely anger and hectic that he has got stolen his bike by Trevor.

u can steal their car while they are close to you and they will say something unique as well

fun fact: due to all of the characters' vehicles being unique and not spawning in traffic (except for amanda and tracey's), getting into any vehicle of their model when they're spawned will cause them to contact you as if you had stolen their car. for example, one time after completing father/son, i spawned a generic sentinel with a trainer, and michael texted me as if i had stolen amanda's car, which obviously wasn't the case. another is example is this one time when i was doing the merryweather heist, i spawned a generic buffalo s, and franklin acted as if his car was being used
Theres some exceptions to this, Franklin can get an Tailgater at the start of Complications and it will get impounded by the time the player finishes the mission, the player can get the impounded Tailgater and drive off normally without Michael messaging you if you stole his car.
This has the same effect as Trevor, for some reason, Trevor can duplicate his truck by comitting suicide while driving it [so getting out in high speeds and crashing into moving pedestrian veichles] and for some reason, the game will duplicate it as an impounded veichle, except it doesnt have the modifications if your truck is modified and doesnt have the special Mr. Raspberry Jam Bumper even after the mission Hang Ten.
The player with the now duplicate Truck can go to trevor as Michael or Franklin and can steal it from him, once stolen, the game will not consider it as Trevor's Veichle and thus free to be kept in your garage.
Also, there is a similar affect to this, for some reason, if the player drives an Issi [Tracey's Car but not directly owned by Tracey] into Michael's House and leaving, The game will think the player stole Tracey's Car which leads to Michael messaging you stealing her car. I don't know if it has the same effect as driving and leaving as a Sentinel and receiving a message from Michael if you stole Amanda's Car.
