Yep, the Caps lost the 2 longest shootouts in the span of a decade. However, I do not know the meaning behind the handshake celly. Definitely more special celly's than that.

Marek Malik easily takes the cake. 6'7" defender gets put into a game-deciding shootout and scores "that" goal, perfectly. Does the Statue of Liberty celly, in New York while playing for the Rangers. Iconic. Way before anyone was using this move in an NHL game, hadn't scored a goal all season to that point, and the shootout was relatively new to the league. I love how all of these either come from a guy who isn't known for scoring, or a guy who is known for scoring way too much.
