- The Prime Minister’s “cocky strut” has all but vanished after confronting another week of damning headlines over the detainee saga, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Ms Credlin noted how Anthony Albanese was “crowing” last week about how clever he was to break his stage three tax cuts promise.
“This week, that cocky strut from the PM had all but vanished as he's had to confront another week of damning headlines showing just how incompetent his ministers are,” she said.
“And how, still, underneath it all, Labor doesn't believe in border protection, Labor is soft on illegal arrivals and, to be honest, doesn't have the ticker to make the difficult decisions you've got to make to keep Australians safe.
“It's a mess, but it's a mess of the government's own making.”

It ain't perfect 2pp, but its better than what happens in Europe, when you have multiple smaller parties all arguing for months after elections to see who gets what position at the trough. It's hard for any government that gets formed to get anything passed as each party wants to change any policy to suit their narrative. No thanks. 2PP isn't great but you usually get a majority which means that stuff can get done, whether we agree with it or not. The LNP have to get rid of the rest of the LINO's in their ranks, then learn to play Politics, not just be good mangers (usually) of the economy. And FFS can we get a leader who has a vision for the future, a 20, 40 or even a 50 year plan.

We should always remember [and never forget] that, in spite of claims to the contrary, the High Court did not release these other 147 criminals into society. The Govt did. It was patently obvious that, in the ruling, it was clear that it did not apply to all criminal detainees. The protection of victims is important but, on another level, irrelevant. What about the broader community? The fact that these criminals are free to continue to perpetrate [and have done so] at will, makes it way worse than just their previous victims' concerns. Just add names to the list. That the Govt did not foresee this and still, to date have made no efforts to amend the laws that allowed this shows a total lack of competence. Disgusting!

With Albanese it is a case of the missing ministers, it seems that the only priority last year was Labor politicians being activists for the voice instead of doing their official duties, it seems to be the case of many Labor ministers and Chalmers is one of them sending Bullock to many overseas meetings on his behalf and other ministers failing to do official obligations because of voice activism under Albanese's orders, yet, after all that he failed to resign after the failed referendum and trying to sneak it through anyway, covertly like a slippery eel. This is just as bad if not worse than Morrison taking over all the ministries. Albanese reckons he was a better option than Morrison, the more honest, the more credible, the more integrity PM, now everybody knows, everybody around the whole world knows this is not the case. Albanese is a collapsed PM and everybody knows his sham marriage is a diversion of the failing energy grid from Labor's failed and costly policies enriching the elite left and ripping everyone off. It's Super Inflation February and nobody is telling you. Here is the thing Albanese already has no credibility and so his so-called wedding is not credible enough to appear authentic. My Opinion - Drug and Alcohol testing in the parliamentary workplace - what a good idea! I worked in the mining industry for the last thirty years and for the last 4 - I had to blow in the alcoholizer every day I entered the workplace. When mandatory Drug and Alcohol was first introduced for the mining industry - the LNP were singing from the roof tops alluding that the scruffy unionised workforce would get their comeuppance and yes, some workers have been disciplined and dismissed for breach of these rules which is ZERO. Where any mining executives caught - yes - not at work but by the police on the open road - and over the limit. The higher they go the more entitled they think they are allowed to ignore the rules of the common employee!
