Why do some of the tractors sound like the fuel is cutting on and off like at 3:04? I don't know how these engines are modded so if somebody could explain that to me it would be really appreciated.
And sometimes bigger fuel lines, sometimes the driver also give the engine that on and off feeling to play with the gas so they can have maximal power for the last and so not damage the engine. We have also a tractorpulling tractor ( David Brown 1212 ) very close to standard just a bigger turbo from the 1412 and we screwed up the fuel pump, 130 HP out of a 3.5 liter engine.
I love tractors and power, but this is a massive waste of fuel and extreme pollution, they should do competitions to plough fields so at least even though they are polluting it wont be for nothing.

Those engines are modded with a much bigger fuel pump and a huge turbo

that's more than double the HP for a 1212, nice job!
The fuel is cutting off because they are only allowed to drive on a certain rpm in each class
