still american muslims endorsed and voted for trump.muslims in the west have an habit of voting in group on whoever they are told to vote. its an abuse of the democratic system and should be illegal. maybe if they had listen to themselves instead of the mullah.they would not be regretting voted trump or abstaining.

How does a coloniser have a right to protect itself? Doesn't the law say that they don't have a right?

The occupier does not have a right to defend themselves against those they occupy. The weasel fine line I believe she is attemptin to tread is to argue they need weapons to defend themselves against other states such as Iran - but of course Israel could have saved their weapons to defend against an attack from Iran and they instaed used them on Palestinian children. And they have no right to support from us anyway, we have every right to refuse arms sales.

I know genocide is a legal term, but it is also unique in that states are called to prevent it. How exactly are we going to prevent it if we can't even identify it ?
Also, pragmatically any state may have the right to defend itself, but not against those it occupies. And when a state flagrantly disrespects humanitarian law we have every right remove our support. Nothing stops us from conditioning any weapons deals on them letting in aid and rolling back settlements, but we clearly haven't done that. There is absolutely no justification of us providing spy plane services to Israel from our base on Cyprus.

Proving war crimes have occurred is extremely difficult and time consuming. As she notes, it could take literally decades for the ICJ to deliver a legal ruling on this, so you simply need to make a best guess and err on the side of caution.
There is publicly available information that leaves no room whatsoever for doubt: In the Israeli raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital, described by the US ambassador to Israel as "a fierce battle in a hospital that Hamas had turned into a fort", it was claimed that 50 terrorists were killed in combat and a further 250 surrendered.
The IDF reported zero casualties (no deaths, no injuries), and recovered a "weapons cache" of 3 grenades and a couple of handguns.
That's all the information you need to know this was a criminal massacre on a civilian object. It's operationally impossible to storm a "fort" with 300 "terrorists" and sustain zero injuries, unless of course those 300 terrorists only have two handguns between them. This is a public admission of guilt to war crimes on a massive scale unless you're willing to contort your mind around the incomprehensible narrative framing this as legitimate.

    • @jonathanlamb7341
      @jonathanlamb7341 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

There are various other public admissions of guilt to war crimes on a massive scale. Look for the TV interview with the Israeli "war hero" responsible for demolishing thousands of buildings as he gloats about leaving Palestinians "nothing to return to"' in some areas and laments "missed opportunities" in areas that were only 50% flattened, regaling the audience with anecdotes of street animals eating dead Palestinians.
Strongly reminiscent of the Kremlin funded TV talk shows discussing Ukraine in 2022.

Neither pragmatically nor technically had the illegal occupation force any right to defend themselves, even if systematic extermination of civilians was self denfense.

9:34 Very interesting. She rightly condemns the violent ideological settlers in the West Bank (about whom I wrote my MA thesis) but it's very careful not to say that there has been in Gaza or is in the West Bank a policy by the IDF to target civilians, despite the interviewer's urging in that direction.
The settlers are in the ascendency now, but they're scared. They know that when Netanyahu falls they might have to answer to the rest of us for all they've done.

"genocide" is a legal term but that doesn't mean we must await ruling to use it. This is a bold-faced lie. The genocide convention is clear the acts that can constitute genocide. Not least, the intention, in whole or in part, to destroy a religious, ethnic or national group. Seeing the language of dehumanisation coming from the highest ranking members of the Israeli government about "human animals" and it being "a land without a people", giving permission for Israeli soldiers to treat Palestinians as lesser beings, it is hard to deny this genocidal intent.
The convention does not stipulate that these terms be approved by a court before we use them. In fact, given the obligation to prevent genocide, it REQUIRES of us that we look at the law, look at the facts and evidence and decide for ourselves. It is only if we take accountability for calling it out, that we would ever have any hope to fulfil this obligation to prevent. An obligation that this Labour government has actively tried to silence. They ought to be tried for this in the Hague.

How can you list the apalling crimes, the suffering, the poverty, all the inhumanity the victims of this war have suffered, yet still call the perpertraitors of those actions ‘friends we need to urge to do better’ and say we still need to give them tools they use for killing innocents as a ‘necessity’ because they have to defend themselves and avoid that UN aid will be denied, saying its bad but doing nothing making those words hollow.
To know the extend of the horror in such detail, and still act like any of this is justified is evil.
I know there were victims in Oct. The horror in return is 100 times worse. We have to denounce them.

If you look at the planned route for the Ben-Gurion canal (up from the Gulf of Aqaba through southern Israel and out to the Mediterranean Sea just North of Gaza) you will notice that the route could be shorter, cheaper and straighter if it cuts straight through Gaza.
Driving a large canal through Gaza, especially with its connection to the Med, would be impossible with the Palestinians still living there.
If the Palestinians were no longer in Gaza, then the canal could be built - And there could be space for a few high-end beach-side properties.

3:58 I've had good friends who work/have worked for the UN in East Jerusalem and Ramallah (in the West Bank). The problem with UNRWA is that it seems to have been infiltrated by Hamas and, at the very least, had a culture of working hand in glove with Hamas and its indoctrination of genocidal hatred and violence within the the schools it funded and ran. The problem is not with the UN, it's with UNRWA.

Don't be ridiculous! Israel is a client state of the US. The latter uses the former to dominate and protrct its interests in the region whilst maintaining the illusion that Israel is and independent state carrying out atrocities of its own accord.
To say a tiny state controls the US and UK makes no sense unless you subscribe to the antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews are all powerful...
