Honestly, the hud here was what made me fall in love with this sequel, but now the hud is very saturated with things and the enemies with life bars, God what have they done :,(
After playing this for real then coming back and rewatching this, I just need to ask, what happened? Don't get me wrong, I still love the game and it's a ton of fun but this version of the game seems so full of life. The random people you run across and such and how this is actually going to the Colonel for water, when it's actually just the last mission of the game.
this build had everything right darkness,gridness,harshness all of but still the beauty of nature and life with the animals the rotten corpes of the animals and humans and even in 17:24 you can see house and citys overgrown that gave more realism to the game and now we just have the THV chemicals everywhere looking nasty not ugly it just doesnt fit the vibe i actualy think they delayed the game from 2019 to 2020 and 2021 and then 2022 becouse they didnt like the game i dont know how but ye sry to say but techland realy fcked the game up bad we have more pros then cons in 2019 build then in the finished sad to say from dark modern age to well what we have now nothing to what we have now really says 100% this is dark age but 2019 says it
Who else thinks that gunshots came from a sniper? 4:35 Because the sound of the bullet traveled from a distance than hit, but if it were up close you would've just heard the shot. Also no one had a gun on the ground.

I blame the corporations that make empty promises and rush the games , time is money and that's all they want. I'm enjoying the game its not like the first but not as bad. It's a solid 6.5 out of 10 for me.
I absolutely love the first gameplay trailer. However, there are a few things that I think have to be adressed. 1. The parkouring feels a little too rubber-band-y, jumping several meters to another balcony without any momentum just doesn't feel or look right. And 2. I hope that they don't go too far on the religious cult kind of way like they did in the following. Either go full zombie apocalypse or vodoo stuff, but a mix of those two...just doesn't go too well together for me. It is a normal world setting afterall, no dishonored or anything that would fit that.
The Following wasn't about a religious cult, it was about a Sentient Volatile co-opting the religious beliefs of peasants to serve her purpose, much like Jessica Atreides does to the Fremen in Dune. The Harran Virus is based upon Larry Niven's Tree Of Life Virus. It evolves humans to a final form known as a Protector. U explained that very well the parcour system is too simple the characters doesnt even shake while running like in dying light 1 and most of the zombies are in dark places that doesnt feel like an apocalypse anymore...

The ending fo the following where this zombie woman gives you some weird visions and that bossfight where she teleports and stuff...it just feels wrong, since the entire game besides that cult has been realistic (from a postapocalyptic setting i mean). Thats why The Last of Us nailed it so well, it knew what it wanted to be. (Spoiler incomming) Cannibals are likely to exist once sh*t goes down like that, but there isn't any vodoo magic, any magic events happening or so.
I just beat the retal version and Im so disappointed. This looks nothing like the actual product. What happened to the map, the graphics, the lights, the shadows. The whole world seems much more realistic and post apocaliptyc. I wish we could have get THIS version :(

Daniel Dinglasan the following is the cause for this game, think about it, at the end of dying light: the following, Crane wonders into a populated city seconds before losing control and turning, this could very well be how the virus spread out of Harran into the outside world thus giving us the world of dying light 2 where the contagious meter bracelets could’ve well been distributed by the GRE before things went to shit. Since crane became the night hunter, a zombie known for it’s superhuman abilities which surpass those of a volatile, we can say it’s fairly easy to spread a virus that can mutate rapidly if not contained.

Our protagonist is infected, which of-course gives him a disadvantage at day but at the afternoon/dusk time and strongly during the night, the infection boosts our player's stats like speed, strength, and thickiness of the skin. Basically like the volatiles from the first game. Aiden started beating up the thugs at near dusk, so his skin started to grow more thick. The scorpio wounded him but he could still fight due to the infection.
I'm really liking the Dark zone combat. Looks frantic and natural, I can already see the fun there. The parkour looks really slow and floaty. Our guy has the longest hang time and ridiculous air mobility. The voice acting is also kinda bad.

All I see is a van and no one else. The Center part of the story is ruined because they changed too much, so the whole cut scene looks weird. How do you cut so much out, then leave what you had already made, but you cut out what YOU DID already make, and release trash? Lets just cut out everything, but leave part of the Center mission in, but change it by a ton!
I'm hoping this gets more players than fortnite. Dying light games are better than a game with rip off emotes and characters from games better than it (halo for example)

Chris Avellone being falsely accused of assault towards two women, that said what he did, but in the end, they apologized for accusing him, it was a whole deal just to screw Avellone. Techland heard one bad thing without looking deeper, and booted him. Total BS!
My only worry is that players might be dissatisfied with the consequences they incur. Unlike a linear game which aims to be as satisfying as possible, this allows room for the narrative to be "ruined" in the eyes of the player - which is a big danger!
I don't consider it a danger. Dying Light 2 seems to aim at providing users with actual choice--or a tech limited facsimile thereof--rather than the illusory choice proved by sometime like a TellTale game.
Not lied the lead dev was fired due to a woman that sued him saying that he assaulted her. After the court said he was innocent Tecland never let him back so they scrapped EVERYTHING!!!

I don't consider it a danger. Dying Light 2 seems to aim at providing users with actual choice--or a tech limited facsimile thereof--rather than the illusory choice proved by sometime like a TellTale game.

Not lied the lead dev was fired due to a woman that sued him saying that he assaulted her. After the court said he was innocent Tecland never let him back so they scrapped EVERYTHING!!!
@@BlueMonkey501 Techland is on a ton of people's Sh** list, and I doubt Techland will be able to turn themselves around, which in fact, it's probably already too late. They made their choice, and it was the wrong one, good job Techland, you're on the list with involving EA, Activision, Ubisoft, all of those that got caught up in greed and failure for a ton of games.
