I could listen to hours of Phil verbalizing his thought processes when approaching the game of golf. If I could get the opportunity to casually play a round of golf with any player, it would be Phil.
No idea why you would hate someone like him? He has never done anything. HATE is like some easy to use buzz word. Hate is not some simple thing as not liking a golfer.

@@SiLoMixMaster rude doesn’t mean you’re wrong. It’s a matter of manners not facts. The guy is doing you a favor. Even if he’s compensated in some way, be polite and ask the question in a different way.
Yeah, after Phil graciously spends half hour explaining stuff and he ends the interview with that asinine comment? I say a comment because it was not a real question. What a douchebag.
Phil has a great golf mind and remarkable imagination. This video shows why he and pros are so much better than ams. Most ams dont know how to practice and it shows on the course and scores. Obviously God given skills are in play but if you learn your swing tendencies and understand them, then you can capitalize on them and learn how to play your best and most consistent golf. Great interview!
. This is useful for warming up your muscles in any sport you play. It shows how much work it takes to develop and maintain in golf or other sports you play. I tend to forget about the amount of training it takes to be excellent and just think “oh Phil’s just gifted”. I watched another video of how he trains to keep up his driving distance. Thanks for posting this.
Man is apologizing for giving all this gold 😂. I don’t know a physiologist anywhere that would disagree that even younger golfers should practice the same disciplines to get the body activated for play. I’m sure someone calls that LONGEVITY 😂😂. Love it
I don’t care what anyone says about Phils business decisions or gambling habits. He is quite possibly the best educator in all of sports. So few guys at his level (any sport) are able to educate because it just comes so naturally to them. Phil can really put it into words and you don’t catch any ulterior motives when he’s doing it.
Wow that was so helpful. I never played and know nothing about Golf. But I feel I am good at hand eye athleticism all my life. Very nice of him to talk with you. Thanks again
Thanks for jumping straight into some band work Phil. This is really insightful and a helpful influence for us all who struggle to warm up properly and suffer with stiffness
Awww I could feel the sadness when he started talking about the Callaway grooves being really good. Having a partnership come to an end with a company that you played as a kid can’t be easy. That was a dream come true that he unfairly lost.
Yeah I love Phil’s mind and what he says translates for everyone. You listen to Tiger or Bryson or even Bubba and you walk away with more questions. With Phil, everything is palatable. What a session.
He’s so very analytical and intelligent with his process as opposed to a 100% feel player. Feel like the older you get the more analytical players becoming. Phil is so fast paced and it can be tough for some to keep up with how fast he thinks & talks. Appreciate Phil
This is what I thought Bubba Watson would be like. It’s cool to hear him talk about a hole on a major while on the range like we all do, but he’s one of the best in the world.
Ive watched his chipping videos hundred of time....I credit him and my uncle for my better chipping. I have a plan and can visualize the "the play". I'm now upset when I dont get it inside 6 feet
As a lefty Phil is my guy. Although when I first started playing his flop shots really wrecked my short game. I tried it anytime near the greens 😂. Nice to see more lefties on the tours now!
In his prime, he had the best short game in the history of golf, and he’s still better than most today! Because of Phil, I’m brave enough to hit a high flop shot around the greens with my Calloway 60 deg.😂
Interesting he said Callaway made him a replica of the old PING Eye-2 sand-wedge. I thought that club he put down against the bag looked familiar. That's cool...
I want to know how he got the weight off and keeps it off at 53. He's in WAY better shape now than he was 20 years ago. What I would ALSO like to know from these pros who are my age like Phil is how they warmed up for distances prior to all these "shot monitors" and such. As I remember it while watching him on the range in like 1995, we just went out and blasted irons until we felt warmed up. There was likely a science for them back then too. The VAST majority of golfers don't have access to the tech.

lol. So could Phil. He loves hearing himself talk
I did and it was fun. He does like to talk. Played Del Mar CC on corporate outing .

All time great. Cool to see him at this stage of his career still progressing and doing what he needs to to keep his body ready for competition.
Phil and Bryson are two of my favorite pros to watch, and maybe more importantly, listen to their brilliant instruction. Great vid!
Let’s not put them in the same breath
