That's Cindy Blackman Santana. She's a totally legit Jazz drummer as well as rock. She is literally the female Tony Williams. This video shows nowhere near the range of her abilities.
at 0:41 when she stands up and does plain 16th notes while crashing cymbals...ugh! And the audience cheers out of ignorance...Look at her left hand traditional grip during that as well....all forearm, not wrist/hand. I know she's a "somebody", but these days anyone who takes a drum solo and the groove completely stops and there are no accent patterns by the band to follow, it's just lame. My 3 cents.
