Last week i get this kind of problem, my shipper wasn't put the the address in BL, and just share the doc once it arrived in POD, it make a big problem because once the goods arrive means data already input in custom system, so need to do revise from shipper side, and we as importir need to submit revise as well to custom, we gain lot of loss such a delay container make our customer almost cancel the purchase, cost of warehouse and of course time.

This is human mistake. MBL is also issued as original and it has to be surrendered by human error.
Why we use HBL easier amendment than Direct MBL?
If we would like to revise HBL, we also revise on MBL too.
easier to amend than MBL. Also there is credit for shipper.
