    Can you clarify if there is third party of this shipment? Let's say Shipper: A1(Germany) Consignee:B1 (India) Ultimate Client: C1 (Hong Kong). C1 produces their goods with A1 at Germany and C1 decided to pay O/F between Germany and India from Hong Kong. What is the best solution to issue Master and House B/L on this scenerio?
    Btw Incoterms is FOB Bremerhaven.

    First of all i would like to thank you for your informations , i have some questions about this video , as you may already know that in case of fob the freight will be collect but what if the freight forwarder in the importing side booked a container and sent the booking number or reference to the exporter in this case who will be the shipper and consignee in the master bl and house bl

      Even though freight forwarder in importing side book, nothing will be changed.
      MBL: shipper - exporting forwarder, Cnee - importing forwarder
      HBL: shipper - actual shipper, Cnee - actual Cnee.

    IINO san, if the term is CIF and DDU, the freight cost should be freight prepaid by the exporter. My question is whom the exporter should pay? If the vessel is arranged by the importer side but the term is CIF term, can the exporter pay the freight cost to the importer forwarder? Thanks.

      If freight prepaid, exporter pay the freight to the forwarder(House B/L) or carrier (Direct Master B/L). It's not related who arrange the booking.

    So if it is MBL Freight Collect, to whom does buyer pay freight charges directly to? Forwarder at importer side or carrier at origin side?

    • @kingisking3445
      @kingisking3445 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Buyer would have to pay the freight charges to forwarder at Import side, because forwarder at Import side is the one who would pay the freight charges to the carrier at destination.
      It's like a chain.
      Forwarder at Import side pays freight to the carrier at destination(because it's Freight collect). Later on, the forwarder at import side will demand the freight charges from the buyer (importer) since forwarder at Import side had to pay the carrier at destination for the freight.
      Hope it's clear now. :-)

      If MBL freight collect, import side forwarder has to pay.

    MBL freight collect for FOB term is not good... Because mostly and common practice is origin forwarder pays freght to origin shipping line behalf of destination forwarder... Origin forwarder quote the FOB freight to destination forwarder...if MBL makes frieght collect then consignee will know what was the actual cost they received from thier forwarder based of FOB..... If MBL freght collect for FOB then what is the role of destination forwarder? 🤔

    • @logisticsyoutuberiinosan2358
      @logisticsyoutuberiinosan2358  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If direct master b/l, destination forwarder has nothing to do.

      @@logisticsyoutuberiinosan2358 I m talking about mentioning freight collect in MBL....

  • @positive2030
    @positive2030 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    There is another fregit collect... Exporter forwarder will collect freght charges from importer with help of thier destination freight forwarding agent.... In this case destination agent will get a profit share from origin forwarder...
