The reason is worst backend operations they are using all outsourced backend service centers. Even in the name of Flipkart you can get calls from outsourced advertising service centers who will claim that once you register with, we will make your sales 100x etc etc which never ever happens. Hope Flipkart should revisit their backend operations and should get control on this otherwise it will be a nightmare for them. I am as well a seller to Flipkart from Aug 2023 to till date. I have a brand called Jummanji Floor Cleaner on Flipkart till now have sold few units as well but till now have not received any payments. When I raised the tickets there is no response from them till now. This itself will give a bad image to their Flipkart as a brand. The Flipkart senior management should get back on to work now and resolve these kinds of issues. The reason of Fall will be poor Seller and customer experiences. They need to understand profit is not goal it is just a result, if they really wanted to make it big then they should focus on really to value add on to the seller and customer end.

My overall experience with amazon is way much better than flipkart. and yes obviously for clothes Myntra is the best. Flipkart - for Phone (if you have service center near) for other electronics item i will recommend Chroma or Reliance Digital Myntra - for clothes Amazon - Everything (if the phone you are buying is listed on amazon and it is 500 Rupee expensive buy from here cause of the return/replacement policy)
Using Flipkart from past 4years. Bought tvs, acs, smartphones, ipads, kichen appliances but never faced any problem. You will not trust, but I returned only 3 products from past 4years. Also I'm a very frequent ordered, only problem face is they take too much time to deliver around, 4-5 days. Other than that never faced any problem whatsoever. And as I order from phone, UI of Flipkart app is far more mobile friendly and lighter than Amazon. I hate amazon for its app's UI. It feels so much heavy. I love Flipkart. But one thing they started doing is stopped return policy and started open box delivery for phones. Which is profitable for sellers but little risky for us customers. As we need to contact brand for any issue regarding profuct. So for ordering phone amazon is good choice.
