Thank you for sharing, as a person trying to keep a good budget what I found hard was planners that have everything prefilled out, or have the planner set up with different categories. I found them hard to used as much as I tried. Watching your video made the decision for me to return back to EC planner ( just place order)
You have such gorgeous neat handwriting. I saw that Erin Condren has a Clever Girl Finance collab budget book out, might pick it up and get my finances in order
such a great restart/refresher I'm in the same boat right now. literally just got back from vacation last week and have been diving back into my finances slowly but surly
Saraaay!! I love everything about this, girl! I wish EC would just take your layout and print it! Just make it a 7x9 budget planner 😭😭 I can see why you switched. It's so much room! I'm super tempted but I know my ruled lines not being as perfect as yours will frustrate me! Can't to see you set up August. Thank youuu! Eagle eye signing off 😂
Thanks for sharing. I've been thinking of buy the EC monthly planner to use as my budget book but I always see people use them with stickers and while they look nice I'm not a sticker girl. I like that you used highlighters and made it so neat and simple. It adds just enough colour to be pretty. I also struggled with how I would lay out every thing I wanted to track. I will purchase and lay it out like you did. It's perfect.😊😊
I am glad you shared this because I was feeling like I need to change to the EC monthly planner also. I am using the EC budget planner and it’s too small for me.
How do you set up EveryDollar with the sinking fund? I currently am debt free and have several months saved, but I am without a job right now. And I went on a spending spree in July :( -which I have the money to pay it off. But need to get back to budgeting! I have a notebook from Staples that I am going to use, since I don't have the EC monthly and don't want to buy one now.
You can totally set up the budget in a notebook. Essentially, this one is sort of a notebook with a calendar. I use Every Dollar sort of as a calculator, just to crunch the numbers based on the expected income and then I transfer those figures into the planner. I have the free version.
I love how simple this was. How did you choose your spending categories? I found myself with like >12 categories and it got to be too much. Also, do you use credit cards?
Yes - too many categories can be overwhelming. Over time I've tweak them to that is manageable for me. I found the least categories I have the more flexible the budget can me. It's just been a lot of trial and error.
Thanks for sharing! It is so helpful. Many blessings for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I love this layout 🥰 So simplistic and neat.
Thanks so much! 😊

Is there a fee to use the every dollar app?
I use the free version but there is also a paid premium version.
Do you type out your pages
