    The whole roommate thing sucks, and four of them means one will always be breaking up with their bf/gf and moving back home to Cincinnati or getting fired or gets in a fight with someone and leaves or finds a cheaper place in Queens or finds true love and moves in with SO or whatever it is. You're always going to have a bedroom either empty or about to be.

    It's nice but there will be no natural light in the living room and kitchen if the two downstairs rooms are used as bedrooms because the doors will probably all be closed unless you want to look at someone's messy room. The room with the glass doors will need curtains and their is no closet. Plus you have to go through someone else's room to get to the terrace. I think it would work best for 2 roommates and still be affordable. The two downstairs rooms could be used as offices.

    • @MrM-u3h

      I think the one downstairs bedroom with the clear doors should be the living room as it didn't look big enough in the common area for a couch, table and tv. Under the stairs will need a coat hanger and shoe rack as I didn't see a closet. Would be a little less than 1500 if 3 shared.

You'd only have to worry about your 1100$ portion of the rent. Maybe contact the owner and see what's up. I knew a guy who rented a room in a beautiful apartment and he loved it. The landlord vets the people so you usually have roommates who are professionals working and living a normal life💖👍.

I can't imagine renting out to 4 strangers and coming home from my job at 1 AM and roommates friends are over hanging out on the terrace yapping after having walked through my bedroom to get to terrace. NO FRICKEN WAY . Terrace to ME should only be allowed to be used by the upper floor two renters. And then sharing a kitchen with 4 people???? How does that work out??? I'd imagine not well!!! I'm glad I bought my small town house in 2004. Its on a Bay and its very quiet here. I have 2 stories and a finished basement. 1100 sq feet not counting basement and that's another 550 sq feet GREAT for one person and my house has no appreciated and is worth almost twice what I paid. That's exactly why I would never have a roommate. This is why I'll never rent a room where other roommates. We shared kitchen in the bathroom that aint happen. Ing I don't know, I want to place it all to myself. This is why it's best to live. Alternatively or live in a place that you can afford to pay for yourself. Test just me.

    Hi Cash this is a great looking penthouse. For $1,100 that is a steal. I still wish I can afford NYC rent. Even in So Cal a two bedroom one bedroom apt costs $1,400 a month to rent. I rather buy a cheap small condo apt. And get a trustworthy roommate. Stay well and safe 👍😀

  • @Final_Fantasy_7

    That apartment is really $1100 per person...meaning its a "shared apartment" thats why it has 4 bedrooms...this kind of living arangement is perfect if all 4 people have a steady job and chips in every month...$4,400 aint bad.but the the problem is that l you loose that privacy unless u can pay all the rent on your own just use the extra rooms for a guest room,a prayer room and my favorite...a gaming room 😅

      better off just paying 2200 and finding one more person who is willing to pay that much and have only 2 ppl living there. Each person would get their own bathroom, and 2 rooms to themselves. That kitchen and those bathrooms are way too small to share with 4 adults.

    Cash is getting his avenues confused. That was LENOX Avenue on the west side of Harlem. Definitely a different vibe from 125th Street & Lexington Avenue, especially lately. & its not a laundromat if it's inside your building. This 1 looks more like a laundry hallway than a laundry room even. Is there anyplace for you to fold your clothes? Yes the basement is clean which is a plus. As for the garbage all being neat in containers it's a shame Cash who bashes NYC regularly doesn't bother to tell you that its a city law or ordinance that all garbage must be put in closed containers by a certain date. As for the apartment itself, I'm not impressed. When they gut renovated the building they took out central heat so you're now paying for it on top of your rent. The kitchen & living room combo is small no doubt because of the stairs leading up to another floor that used to be a separate apartment in another lifetime. Did i see the under the cabinet lights needing to be plugged in? Seriously? The oven doir is off? & did that wine cooler door even open fully? It looked like that 1 bedroom with the french doors didn't even have a closet. The water pressure sucked when Cash tried the faucets. Usually hes raving about the fantastic water pressure. This time nothing. & the outdoor space can only be accessed by going through either of the 2 bedrooms on the upper level. Just no. Can you tell this is a hard pass for me?

      @MamaCarola1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @sinash nope nope nope. There was ONE per bathroom & a couple of hooks on the back of the door. So when you're done with your shower I guess you have to take v your wet towel back to your room like in a dormitory.

      @@MamaCarola1If you were a considerate roommate you would. But that's the problem. How many of us are considerate at all times? My primary issue would be one of if a downstairs occupant needed a break and wanted to get some fresh air and enjoy the day and/or evening on the terrace? That type of traipsing into another's space could cause A LOT of issues!

    I would love to have a car like these people that just slides sideways to get out of a tight spot. I mean, that has to be how they get out of their parking spots and back in, right? Surely, they aren't massive professional parallel parkers. I'm pretty good at parallel parking and I don't think I could get in or out without wiping out someone's bumpers.
