I know all of this, as you pointed out Ray, but your videos are interesting and great to watch. I watched and listened to the lot and enjoyed it all! Thank you!
Thanks for your kind comment. It's great to hear from you. Cheers, Ray.
Always a pleasure watching your videos Ray. God bless
Thank you, it's good to hear from you.
Just found your channel, fairly new to radio world and making my way through your videos now, I did know about repeaters but linked repeaters sound a great idea to me who only has a couple of handheld radios at the moment, I am enjoying your videos, thank you for taking the time to make them.
Glad you found the video useful. Cheers, Ray.
Never bored with your wonderful lessons, Ray :)
Thanks!
Thanks for the great explanation Ray! You’re a natural story teller. I’m certainly going to listen for you on your 10m frequency. The band has been opening up lately.
Thanks for your kind comments. I hope to work you on the repeater when the band is open. Cheers, Ray.
always nice to see you back...
Thanks!
Good morning from Kentucky USA. There is very little 2M activity in my area. The local repeaters are very quiet. There was lots of activity in 80's and 90's, not sure what has happened. I am retired from a 42 year career in industrial electronics working for BIG OIL and Natural gas companies, always had two meter in the company vehicle. Take care, wishing you the best.
Hi Terry, great to hear from you. Two metres is very quiet here too. There is some acitvity locally here on 4 metres which is good. Cheers for now, Ray.
Thanks Ray, great video. You're such a great story teller, looking for more ghost stories, even if you have to make it up. You really had a way with words.
Hi, great to hear from you. Thanks for your kind comments. More ghosties on the way! Cheers, Ray.
ha! I know how Repeaters work also, but your channel is so much fun to watch! I'm watching it Guvna' 😆
Haha, excellent|
I need to understand this, just hot my first handheld. Quansheng k5. I'm struggling to get all the comments sorted. I'm getting to know more each day. Thanks for your lessons Ray. Much appreciated.
Great to hear from you. Good luck with your first handheld. We're all learning all the time. Cheers, Ray.
Thanks for this informative video. Excellent for newbies especially if we're oldies, 😃
Glad you found it useful, Susan. Great to hear from you.
I listen to 5 repeaters here in Crawley. Unfortunately most are quite. Imagine if a line of repeaters connected across the Country. Oh my what fun 😂. Thanks Ray for your video's. Do love listening to you. Have you thought of a collaboration with Lewis on Ringway Manchester. He makes some great content like you.
Hi, glad you like the videos. I'll check out Lewis on Ringway Manchester, thanks for that. A line of repeaters connected across the country... there's a thought!. Cheers, Ray.
That would be great about Pirate radio
Thanks mate very good. ID love to talk to you on the repeater from the outback of Australia.
Excellent!
Do you go on the Worthing repeater? I'm not sure about where I live in Crowborough but I can get it from my friend's allotment in Brighton. Ray M7AOE
I monitor GB3BR and GB3RW. We do have GB3WO in Worthing but it's not often used. Also, check out GB3CQ. Cheers, Ray.

Well, I'm certain this was a great video, but as I'm not a beginner, I'm not permitted to watch. Far be it from me to knowingly break the law. I must have special permission.or face time in prison.
Haha, love it! Great to hear from you.
