A lot of these seemed to be conditions or genetic defects, but having Black skin is not. It’s like saying a redhead with pale skin is a defect. Vera wang looking ageless is also not a condition. The model who it was said that she had thought that she would lighten and brighten her skin already had bright skin. A person doesn’t have to have light skin to have bright beautiful skin. A lot of white and light people are not beautiful.

It's unusual because most people with that skin tone live in the Congo or other places that are extremely close to the equator. Australia is more near the bottom of the planet, so her skin being that dark is rare in that area.

And don't forget that the Eskimos and many North American indigenous people are dark brown, thought the y live in colder climates. From what I've read, if the body gets vitamin D from food sources, then the skin doesn't need to lighten to get it from the sun. Dark skin is amazing, the color of the gods.

Why is it within the black community there is more prejudice against dark skin than society at large? Same for India where skin color equates to social status and dark people are looked down on. It's just skin people, we are all unique and deserving, variety is a gift and truly beautiful! Stop the divisiveness, not just with skin color, but politics, religion, all of it!
