    I noticed you set the current to 5.2 A, for the balanced Lipo charging as the battery is rated at 5200 mah. But I thought that the current being set here was the charging rate, not the rating of the battery ? Are you trying to charge this battery pretty quick, isn't this more dangerous ? I normally set this value to 1-2A, so it takes longer to charge as per my instruction manual.

    • @Quantumfishics

      Exactly what I'm thinking! I charged at 3amps and all cells went above 3.7. and my battery is a 4s 3300mah

    • @Acoriafly
      @Acoriafly 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You usually charge batteries of a rate between 0.5 - 1C where most typically run 1C. For example if you have a 5200mAh battery, 1C would be 5.2A, which means the battery will charge from 0-100% in one hour. Some manufacturers recommend a charging rate of 0.8C, you have to check with the manufacturer of your batteries.

    Thanks for the video. I have the V2 and I am getting an error message when I attempt to use the storage mode for my LiPo. The error message is not available in the instruction manual so it got me confused and I don't know what to do. The error message says (NOT NEED CHARGE )

    If you have a b6ac, and it doesn’t say SKYRC on the top right, it’s a low quality clone that cannot measure voltage and cannot be calibrated

      There is a timer that you can set. i Set mine to 70 mins. This way if i get distracted it won't be on for too long. I never trust the unit nor the battery. Buy a battery checker and use in your battery maintenance processes. Carry a AOK-BL8S when you are out so you don't over use the batteries. Common sense, observation, prevention, main things to do with batteries. Never trust a saggy or bloated battery either. discharge safely and dispose of them before they burn shit down x

    If there’s ever a fire, it will all stay inside the weber BBQ, except for the smoke

    • @DoubleMonoLR
      @DoubleMonoLR 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not a good idea, you could end up with the total voltage being lower than for example the 3S 'charged' voltage of 12.6V(ideally 3x4.2V) but still overcharge 1 or 2 batteries. eg: if 1 or more cells charges slower than the others you could have, for example - 3.9V, 4V, 4.4V = 12.3V and still charging.
      If they are seperate batteries(not wired together), charging them in parallel seems like it should be relatively safe, as they'd inherently be at the same voltage. It would effectively be like charging a higher capacity single battery, to 4.2V.

    Very helpfull video thankyou!. Maybe you can help me with a question: So i have a 6S, 22.2V, 10.000 mah Battery... When i balance charge it it goes well over 22.2 volt. At the moment it says 23.9v in top right corner. When press left arrow the "End voltage" says 25.2v. Is it okay to have almost 24/25v on the 22.2v battery??. And from what i found out the bottom right corner says the Mah but is this the amount the battery currently is charged at or is this the amount it already charged into it since the start off the current charge?. I mean it needs to go 10.000 then right?. Also the "capacity cut-off" is set to 5000mah... do i need to change it to 10000 for completely charging? Or am i making it unsafe then?. hope u can help me!. :)

      @BluesManSteele 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have these same questions

    • @DoubleMonoLR
      @DoubleMonoLR 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Voltages can be confusing, as different companies list the total voltage when fully charged, others at the nominal voltage of 3.7V, etc.
      Using standard LiIon as an example(I think LiPo has the same fully charged & nominal voltages?), 6s(which means 6 cells in series) = 6 x 4.2V when each cell is fully charged = 25.2V, at nominal 3.7V = 6 x 3.7 = 22.2V
      Similarly, there are tool batteries which have the same number of cells in them, but different companies describe them as 18V, 20V, 21V etc, it's a mess.
