One of the mistakes some Nigerians are making is Leaving Nigeria thinking the grass is greener elsewhere. In the next 20-30 years, the children they so desperately gave "better" life to in abroad would want to relocate back BUT at that time there will be nothing to come back to because their parents sold all they have to travel abroad. Instead of dashing a school abroad the 20-30 million naira, you can create large grocery store, bakery, poultry, chocolate factory, etc Chinese are in Kwara & Ogun state farming ugwu. Indians are setting up farms, Lebanese are setting up restaurants and they are cashing out. WHATEVER YOU DO HERE, YOU WILL CASHOUT
God bless your efforts, Tunde. Your methods are scientifically correct. I encourage you to mechanize every aspect of this production to reduce contamination and make it faster. Kudos.
@ how many of your family member don make em by selling garri or cassava leave 6figures $$ payment to come produce garri, poverty de ooz for your family dna. Gerara here.!
I don't think they produce the best quality garri here, take a look at the processing it's not what I expected. I love good clean environment but the standard here is low. He has some equipment but it's not the general hygiene. I appreciate his venture but it's not upto the standard I expected with the hype. I've managed garri processing factory previously in Calabar, the packaging standard here is poor they should work on it.
@DavidNkwa what do want to do with the name? Or you're angry with my comment? That's not how to respond to criticism but taking notes. I'm not condemning his farm but pointing out the obvious
@@thomasassim-ita1787if you are bragging about this other company you worked for, you shouldn’t be scared to share their business information. Excess machinery does not necessarily mean better products.
David may want to visit the place also and nothing is wrong with that, please don’t be too sensitive. Your observation and suggestion of cleanliness is spot on but maybe it could have been worded better. Thanks.
@@thomasassim-ita1787Still haven’t said the name of the place yet. What “BIG PHOOL” you are you can’t even answer a simple question without being super sensitive & emotional womp womp🥱
How is this considered high quality? Very disappointing. All the processing plants are of poor standard, just filled with machinery. Hygiene is non-existent; your washing process is done manually by women in bare feet. I enjoy garri but am tired of drinking sand, air particles, and endless substances that shouldn’t even be there. I understand that the local market might not pay a premium price, but I can assure you there is a demand for high-quality care. This is a traditional food that appeals to all classes.
They’d improve. That’s how China started. You can criticize & make suggestions rather than downplay their work. Business in a harsh terrain isn’t easy at all.
The dude is trying inthe Nigerian context. You have to start somewhere, I'm from Imo state, I know a couple of guys that are into farming over there, with similar machines.
I agree with you, I am tired of seeing cassava back peels in my garri and maybe ant legs. Hopefully there will be a research for separating unwanted particles.
