Brunfthirsch schmeckt nicht - vermutlich bleibt er heute liegen. Aber schon in einem Buch aus dem 19.Jh. heißt es über Karpaten-Brunftjagd: "Ohne Knoblich kein Wutstgeschäft nicht". Ich fänds auch Mist.
In den Karpaten ist es eine Vorgabe das Haupt direkt abzutrennen. Der Rest wird dann in der Regel mit Quad, Pferden und Hänger oder Forstmaschine geborgen. Je nach Terrain. Und das Fleisch wird in der Regel immer verwertet. Auch die Brunfthirsche werden von den Einheimischen verwertet.

I know you can't take it all but there's prime meat you could take in back packs and bags !!!!!!I've hunted for 60 years and was taught you don't just kill for a trophy. I couldn't count the game I've harvested and eaten. But I've never left a carcus in the woods. This saddens me to see this on here. God gave us dominion over them but to use not abuse.
Now, that's an impressive harvest for one season, and some of the trophies are really spectacular
