I attended the special early LA screening for this film, Vin showed up to speak at the event, he had just come from the hospital where his daughter had just been born, a daughter he named Pauline after Paul. Vin also recently walked Paul’s daughter Meadow down the aisle at her wedding. The love of this cast is real.

There's a few scenes that always gets me...and kinda scary to think how it ended up.
11:27 When Roman said: "Promise me Brian, No more funerals." and then he said: "Just one more."
33:14 Mia thought Brian was saying his last goodbyes. That scene felt so real!
41:38 Dom: "It's never goodbye." Cuz Paul's legacy lived onto his brother Cody.
NGL It was a roller coaster of emotions when i first watched F7, and i'm glad that they filmed with such iconic characters and still manage to level up the action in each series.

When I watched this in theatre's for the first time, everyone was in tears. And then there was a standing ovation when the ending message "For Paul" closed out the movie.
They also did a pretty good job with the CGI Paul Walker by using footage & B roll from past movies & his brothers Caleb & Cody.

The last thing I heard Paul did 80% on fast 7 of the movie before he died and his brother stepped in to finish the movie on the last couple scenes but they CGI Paul faces over his brother face at the end saying "you can't leave without saying goodbye"

    • @ShaunInce123
      @ShaunInce123 ปีที่แล้ว +3

There's quite a fair amount of stuff in the movie outside of that ending scene that was done by his brothers with Paul's face CGI'd on top of them. If there's a scene where the dialogue sounds a bit off or it's been lifted from a past movie, it was done with his brothers. They also shot scenes where the lighting was barely visible so that it wouldn't be as obvious

I consider F7 the true ending to the Fast and Furious franchise
    RIP Paul Walker Sep 12, 1973-November 30, 2013
    Some facts
    1. The song at the end, "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, is dedicated to Paul Walker. It received one billion views on TH-cam in 2015, and in July 2017, went on to become the most viewed video on TH-cam at almost 2.9 billion views but has since been surpassed. As of June 2021 the video has more than 5.1 billion views.
    2. The white Toyota Supra MK IV used in the ending of Furious 7 is Paul Walker's personal car.
    3. Originally, Universal Pictures wanted a big-name celebrity for the role of "Mr. Nobody", when the character was eventually given a larger role in the sequels. They approached Denzel Washington who turned down the role. Deepika Padukone, Halle Berry and Taylor Lautner were considered for the role before they eventually settled on Kurt Russell.
    4. Scenes where Paul Walker's face would be visible the film's production relied on Weta Digital a production company created by Peter Jackson best known for its work on the character Gollum in The Lord of the Rings franchise and Caesar in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
    5. According to piracy tracking site Excipio, the film was downloaded illegally 2.59 million times in four days (April 2-6) through various torrent sites. India was the top country for piracy of the film with 578,000 downloads followed by Pakistan (321,000), China (289,000), the U.S. (251,000) and the UK (101,000)
    6. Kara and Riley are the only two MMA fighters Letty Ortiz has fought in the series.
    7. Jack mimicking his dad saying cars dont fly ends up coming true three times first time was Caucasus Mountains, second time Abu Dhabi, and third when Dom drives his charger off of parking lot building but appears to miss the helicopter and crashes.
    8. Hector was supposed to have a large role in Furious 7 being a main character and joining the family however the film was rewritten.
    9. Furious 7 a television in Hobbs hospital room features a clip of the November 16, 1991 Miami Hurricanes vs. Florida State Seminoles game. Dwayne Johnson was a defensive player on the Miami Hurricanes and participated in the November 1991 game.
    10. Furious 7 makes an oblique reference to Hobbs's "Hulk" nickname, with an episode the 1978 television series, The Incredible Hulk. It was also mentioned in Hobbs & Shaw that Deckard Shaw calls him "She-Hulk"
    11. Jordana Brewster (Mia) had to shoot her scenes at the very end of filming, because of her lead role on the since-canceled Dallas (2012) television series. She has stated that it was immensely difficult given that most of her scenes were with her onscreen husband Brian and by the time her scenes were filmed Paul Walker had already died requiring her to perform scenes with either one of Paul's two brothers acting as his body double or with him inserted via computer graphics or footage from an earlier film.

After Furious 6 torn up Memorial Day weekend 2013 and broke mad records, F7 was announced for release in summer 2014.
I was excited about James Wan as director, plot details, adding cast members and then some.
Paul Walker had 4 films in 2013 including Furious 6.
On Thanksgiving weekend of the same year, the cast and crew were taking holiday break from filming F7.
Between this time, he just turned 40.
Opening day 2015, i saw this in IMAX as well.
Everything at all levels and as much as expected.
We were all mourning as fans and the love was so well felt.
The cultural impact of this franchise grew stronger.
Furious 7 grossed over $1 billion worldwide and The Fast Saga became Universal Pictures' biggest franchise ever.

He wanted to stop doing action films and spend more time with his daughter. If you can find the show it’s worth watching. It’s called Autopsy Paul Walker. I grew up watching these movies, and idolized Paul.. hell I even dressed like his character in these movies..I remember exactly where I was when My friends and I found out he passed away, we were literally in a theatre after watching another movie and my friend checked Twitter and read a TMZ tweet out loud.. I thought he was bullshitting so I got on my phone and saw it for myself.. When I got home I spent the rest of the night reading tweet after tweet, scrolling through facebook, watching every news video that was available.. I balled my eyes out knowing he was never coming back.. It just stung so much, he was my favourite actor and these films shaped part of my personality.. To this day, this ending literally is a gut punch.. seeing how Tyreese was at the crash scene, hearing Vin trying to bring the crowd together and being as strong as possible knowing deep inside it was just killing him.. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the theatre when this movie ended and the white screen came up with “For Paul” can’t believe its been ten years since he passed.. Rest Easy Paul.

Then some time later the cousin we went with to see Furious 7 called us and told us his brother died. And it was months after we saw the film. We used the song see you again for his funeral. And seeing how the cast and crew grew over the years and became like a family. Then Paul died and it felt like they lost a brother. A family member. The ending was a beautiful tribute to Paul Walker. When I found out he died my sister told me and I didn't really believe her till I looked online. And saw that it was true and I told my brother and he was shocked. When we got home in the evening we saw the news. Paul Walker R.I.P

This one really felt like just going from one action set-piece to the next. Still super fun though. I know they *could've* ended the series here with the PW tribute, but I'm actually cool with them continuing. Had PW not passed, these movies were still gonna keep going. And also by this point in the series, the movies had evolved to be more about the ensemble, as opposed to just one or two people. I truly enjoy the fact the cast just keeps growing while still keeping the same core actors/characters. You guys hit it on the head, as to why, despite how stupid this shit is, we're invested: because we have an attachment to these characters.

Brian Tyler did such great music for this franchise since tokyo drift, in furious 6 he was replaced but came back for part 7, 8, 9, 10

This is the only movie in the Fast and Furious franchise that I hate the most. Like Tokyo Drift was the start of my love for the franchise cause it's the first movie that got me into Fast and Furious. So if it wasn't for Tokyo Drift, I wouldn't even be into this franchise in the first place. Whereas 6 kind of almost got me into it but not fully. Now 8 solidified it for me and got into the franchise fully and now I'm here waiting for Fast X to come out.

I still don't think it's near as good as 5 or 6, but it's for Paul, so I'll say this should've been the last one. Even though I hate Han and Giselle dying in 6, I'll accept that for Paul and Brian to get their send-off.

Yeah I can't watch this movie again. this one definitely hit me hard. Haven't watched any after b/c, I dunno, this movie really felt concluded. I'll be hugging myself all night if I watch it again. My husband actually worked with Paul in a 24hr race and said he's a good dude. He'll turn off and on his persona if he's in front of the camera. With or w/o the cameras, he's humble...I still have a picture of them both that I usually share on FB every anniversary.

He didn’t really announce it. He’s still maintaining 10 and 11 are set up as the finale…. But the studio supposedly wants another one after seeing the Final Cut of Fast X

    • @Aragonsdick5170

Correction: not a trilogy but, another "Fast and Furious 12". Apparently the studio liked Fast X and wanted it to be three parts..so fast 12 will be the third and final finale of Fast X (which is now officially a trilogy).
