Anything on the piano can be considered patterns... Playing the piano is not an easy task, especially if you're playing Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom.
Agreed. When I first saw this song I thought it's extremely difficult. But when I started learning it, I noticed the patterns are way easier to play than I expected. It's also extremely fun to play.

I'll admit, this is not my type of music- the dark/fast stuff, but that was very good, and I listened through the whole thing happily xD 1:58 was my fav part.
I don't think it's sped up, because I can play the first part and I refuse to believe that the rest is impossible to play. This song is sexy and you should accept it for what it is. Y.N, I salute you....

You all are just looking at his hands/the keys. If you look at the speed of his arms and how he bounces his legs, along with a few hip shifts. It would be an awkward momentum/movement if this were slowed down any.

@Yoshi17th TH-cam always screws with our encoding on our videos, and as soon as we figure out a way to bypass it, they "update" youtube and we're back at square one. He should use an iPhone 4S though :P

Not to be a hater, but you can tell this was sped up :(
(notice how fast the keys come back up, notice the choppiness in his movements, instead of being blurry if he was truly just fast)
there's no way his left hand fingers can be moving that much (up and down) unless if it was played at a slower pace, which is when someone can put more "effort" into playing it like that (rolling up on the notes, etc.)
Why are people saying this is sped up? You really shouldn't judge by camera. Judge by sound because it would go out of tune if it was sped. :l
What he's doing in the left hand isn't actually all that hard to do. A bit of practice and sometime, and maybe a decade or two of lessons and you'll be able to do something similar too.

I'm sure that he doesn't "cheat" on all his videos, as he has shown himself able to play them in live performances. And it is only a couple videos that look weird, like this one.
However, only a really really bad camera that can't even tape at 32 fps will produce choppiness like in this video o.o or when he uploaded it to YT it got screwed up. Either way, it's suspicious and he should fix it xD
